Journey to securing BTS Arirang in Bulacan tickets yesterday June 9 Army PreSale

📍Preparations before June 9
✅Secured Army membership
✅Created 2 Ticketmaster accounts (yahoo + gmail)
✅Asked hubby and sister to create Ticketmaster accounts
✅Advised hubby’s niece to wake up at 9:30 am on June 9 to help take care of my toddler
✅Asked hubby to prepare PC and connect it to PLDT
✅Watched tips online how to secure BTS tickets

📍Preparations before 10am of June 9
✅Finished morning routine of my toddler before he plays with his cousin
✅Had morning snack, refilled tumbler, open AC, open PC

📍Preparations after 10am
✅Followed online tips for PC: PC desktop> Open microsoft edge > settings > unblocked “pop ups”
✅Followed online tips for iphone: General settings>unblocked “pop ups” >lock screen set to “never”
✅PC: Open ticketmaster account linked to yahoo mail and connected to PLDT at 400+ mbps
✅Iphone: Open Safari> open Ticketmaster account linked to gmail and connected to Converge at 200+ mbps
✅Samsung Zflip6 connected to SMART data for fb messenger
✅Ipad set-up for Selfie Video
✅DJI set-up to capture video of PC and iphone
✅Created BTS ticket war room (GC in fb messenger) with Sister, hubby and brother
✅Video call with Sis and Bro and below was the initial strategy (Hubby was busy had office meeting)😂

➡️Me: To secure Day1 tickets in Bulacan
➡️Sister: To secure Day2 tickets in Bulacan
➡️Hubby: To secure Day 2 tickets in HK
➡️Brother: To secure Day 3 tickets in HK

📍Here’s the main event
💜10:30 am Refreshed Browser > clicked join the queue for Day1
💜10:31 am Countdown 24 mins to join the event
✅ Checked with everyone. Sis joined the queue for Day2. Hubby still in his office meeting. Brother trying to create new account in livenation HK

💜11:00 am Countdown ended. Below are the initial QN assigned

➡️Iphone - 18,644
➡️Sis - 67,065
➡️Hubby - 52,372
➡️Bro - Has error in the Hk LN site
➡️Hubby said he needs to step out to buy lunch and will bring it to his desk
➡️Hubby went back and his laptop had automatically locked. Good thing he was still on QN 11k+

➡️I asked him where did he joined and it was for Bulacan Day 1 using his Ticketmaster account 🤣🤣🤣
➡️ He wasnt able to read my chat after his meetings that he should’ve joined LN HK 🫣

➡️Everyone waiting patiently. But we are chatting constantly comparing notes thinking, brainstorming “what went wrong?” Pacifying emotions 😂

💜11:40 - Hubby clicked “back” button and checked all bleachers availability but seats are sold out.

❗️Checked VIP standing and saw available seats, selected the slots and redirected to online payment
❗️Paid the tickets and received an email “Ticket Purchase Confirmation”
❗️Changed his account name in Ticketmaster from hubby’s to my name

💜💜FINALLY!!! THANK YOU HUBBY💜💜
➡️Waiting is not a problem since time just went by so fast
➡️Thank you to army friends I’ve been chatting with during the whole time - really helped with the emotional support
➡️Hope this helps to armys who will try to secure tickets on June 10 and 11
❗️assumption 1: Iphone + Converge is faster than PC+ PLDT when it comes to QN (or it was just a randomizer luck 🤷‍♀️)
❗️assumptions 2: Enterprise connectivity is faster than residential (since hubby who were in the office received the sold out notice earlier than me who was at home) 🤷‍♀️
❗️Microsoft edge and safari are slow browsers. Should’ve open chrome also > incognito mode 🤷‍♀️
