Sometimes, when life feels particularly crazy, the best thing I can do for myself is start the day quietly.

Between running Dosed, work, family, travel and everything else that fills the calendar, I’m learning that self-care can’t just be something I fit in when I have time. It needs to be part of creating a balanced life.

For me, one of those things is Bikram yoga. I’ve been doing it on and off for 19 years now, and somehow I always find my way back to it.

There’s something about that 90 minutes, the heat, the focus, the challenge and having nowhere else to be, that forces me to slow down and be completely present.

Not every morning needs to start at full speed.

Sometimes a quiet start is exactly what you need. 🤍

Before an infusion with Dosed, we consider your health history, regular medications, current concerns and what you’re hoping to get from your appointment.

Because just because an infusion is available doesn’t automatically mean it’s appropriate for everyone.

Sometimes that means choosing a different option.

Sometimes it means checking something further.

And sometimes the safest decision is not to proceed at all.

That’s why every Dosed appointment includes clinical screening and assessment by a Registered Nurse before treatment.

I’m a Registered Nurse with postgraduate training and years of experience working in Intensive Care — an environment where assessment, IV access, monitoring and recognising subtle changes in a patient are part of everyday practice.

I’ve brought that clinical experience with me into Dosed.

Not to make IV wellness feel clinical or intimidating — quite the opposite.

I want it to feel relaxed, personal and premium, while knowing there is genuine clinical experience behind the person sitting beside you.
