When your client (and incredible friend) brings you magic from her kitchen.. she is the Mary Poppins of Indian food! The flavours are better than anything I have ever tried, with so much love, she is an absolute magician tbh.. lentils, potatoes 🤤 thank you so much to your beautiful family and mother Pushpa Vinod Patel xx love you both lots 🌹

As I sit down after a long Saturday and our first full week at Rosa Solis Hairdressing, I'm feeling incredibly grateful.

This was our very first week without Bryan Pauley & Rose Pauley in the salon. Although they may have officially finished, they were still on speed dial for the odd question or bit of reassurance.

From the moment I walked through the salon doors for my part-time interview, I knew there was something special about this place. To now be entrusted with carrying it forward is something I don't take lightly…

Every day I'm getting to know more of you, your stories, your families and the little things that make this community so special. It's a privilege to be part of your lives, and I come to work each day with a real sense of purpose to honour the legacy that has been built here while gently creating the next chapter, and not changing too much!

A huge thank you to Julie Hutchinson for all of her hard work this week. We've supported each other through every busy day, and I'm so grateful to have her by my side.

I also want to say a special thank you to my daughter, Ella. She has quietly stepped into the role of salon assistant and has been incredible. From applying and removing colour, to keeping the salon running smoothly and taking the pressure off Julie and me, she's worked so hard this week. Watching her confidence grow and seeing the beautiful work she produces has made me so proud ♥️

Most of all, thank you to every client who walked through our doors this week. Your kindness, encouragement and support have meant more than you'll ever know.
