I bought these beautiful prints from Reo Māori Products, Resources & Content years ago, long before Pause was even a thought, but I always loved the messages behind them. When I created Pause, there was no question they were coming with me.

Hā ki roto, hā ki waho - breathe in, breathe out.
Aroha mai, aroha atu - love received, love returned.

To me, they’re the absolute epitome of what Pause is about. Taking a moment to slow down, reconnect with yourself, let go of what you’ve been carrying and leave feeling a little lighter - inside and out. 🤎

I love that something I bought all those years ago has now found its place in a space created with exactly those values in mind.

And perhaps even more special to me, Aroha is my middle name, so having those words hanging in the Pause room feels like such a beautiful little full-circle moment. 🤍
