Goodbye jellyfish hair, hello gorgeous blend! 🪼✌️
Sometimes it’s not about adding more extensions, it’s about making what you’ve already got work better!
A richer, warmer brunette and some clever cutting have made all the difference here. 🤎
We’ve softened that disconnected, jellyfish effect, blended the extensions into the natural hair and created a much more seamless, flattering shape.
Because extensions should look like they belong there, not like they’re just hanging on for dear life. 😂
Good colour + good cutting = extensions that actually blend.

Who would’ve thought sewing would end up being part of my day job 😂🪡
Hair extensions really are a whole different skill set sectioning, placement, tension, stitching, blending… basically hairdressing meets arts & crafts and I’m here for it.
There’s something so satisfying about a perfectly stitched weft sitting flat, secure and practically disappearing into the hair 🤌🏼
Just another day at House of Brie — sewing hair onto heads and calling it work 💁🏼♀️✨.

6 years in the making 🥹🤎💗
My Dad bought me this beautiful vintage basin six years ago because he thought it would be perfect in my salon.
It’s followed me around ever since, waiting for me to actually do something with it 😂
Well… I finally did.
I had the stand built tiled it pink, added the gold trim and she is FINALLY where she belongs. And I bloody love her. 😍
A little piece from Dad, a little DIY from me, and very much House of Brie. 💗🐆✨
Only took me six years, Dad 😂

Okay but can we talk about WHERE WE STARTED?! 😮💨🔥
This is exactly why I love extensions.
We started with seriously short hair through the sides and underneath — the kind of length that makes extensions a little more technical if you want them to actually disappear into the natural hair.
Tiny sections, careful placement and a whole lot of blending later… LOOK AT HER. 🤎
No obvious bonds. No chunky giveaway sections. Just longer, fuller hair that actually moves and blends like it belongs there.
Extensions aren’t just about whacking in a heap of long hair — the placement is EVERYTHING, especially when you’re working with hair this short.
Short hair said good luck.
I said watch me. 😂✌️
Give a hairdresser a wig and tell her there are no consequences 😂
CLIPPERS OUT.
COMMON SENSE OFF.
ABSOLUTE CARNAGE. ✂️😂
Turns out I fu***ng LOVE cutting wigs.
No one saying “not too short though” while showing me a photo of a pixie cut.
Just me, the clippers and someone else’s hair that can’t complain. 😂
Best client I’ve had all week.
POV: your hairdresser is 6 and the basin chat is absolutely unhinged 😂💗
Poppy washing Mum’s hair and giving me the full salon experience — questionable technique, elite conversation, and absolutely zero client confidentiality.
Turns out basin chat starts young 💅🏼🫧
What’s said at the basin, stays at the basin.
…unless your hairdresser is Poppy. Then everyone’s finding out. 😂

There is nothing better than seeing your work come to life. ✨
I had the pleasure of creating this gorgeous colour and fresh cut before my beautiful client stepped in front of the camera for her own photoshoot, and I’m absolutely obsessed with how it all came together.
Rich brunette tones with pops of cherry red that catch the light perfectly—bold, glossy and made to stand out.
Thank you for letting me be a small part of bringing your vision to life. ❤️

The magic of balayage is creating dimension, brightness, and a colour that grows out beautifully with less maintenance 🙌

Want more body in your blow wave without loading up on products? I used root lift mist
The secret is not taking the brush out straight away.
Once you’ve dried the section, leave the round brush sitting in the hair and let it cool down for a minute before removing it. As the hair cools, it sets into shape, creating longer-lasting volume and movement.
✨ Blow dry the section
✨ Roll the brush up to the root
✨ Leave it in while it cools
✨ Remove gently and brush through
It’s such a simple trick but makes a huge difference to the finished result.
Save this one for your next blow wave 🤍
