A colour refresh isn’t always about simply adding more of the same pigment. Sometimes, it’s about knowing what not to add 🤎
This client originally had microblading performed elsewhere before coming to me for a cover-up last year. At that appointment, I redefined the shape and filled the areas where the old pigment had become sparse and uneven.
A year later, the shape was still beautiful, but the colour had healed slightly ashy.
Rather than continuing to layer carbon-black-based pigment into the skin, which can gradually contribute to oversaturation and make future corrections more difficult, I chose a carbon-black-free mineral range for today’s refresh.
This allowed me to gently reintroduce warmth and restore the colour without unnecessarily adding more carbon black to the brows.
Mineral pigments may soften and fade a little sooner in the skin, but in a case like this, I see that as a benefit. We can refresh the colour again when needed while helping the brows remain soft, natural and manageable, rather than continually building more and more pigment into the skin over time.
Today’s result: warmer, refreshed brows with the existing shape beautifully restored ✨

I'm looking for a Classic Lash Extension model for Saturday 27 June at 1:00pm.
This is a training appointment as part of my Beginner's Classic Lash Application Course. The set will be applied by a student under my close supervision and guidance throughout the entire appointment.
Requirements:
• Arrive with clean, makeup-free lashes
• No existing lash extensions
• Be available for approximately 3 hours
• Be comfortable having photos taken
