Introducing our new team member….. Meet Janelle Sinclair, Aesthetic Nurse Specialist
Janelle is a New Zealand Registered Nurse with a Bachelor of Nursing and over a decade of experience in appearance medicine.
With a background in dermatology, plastic surgery and advanced aesthetics, she also holds a Diploma in Beauty Therapy & Applied Aesthetics, and the internationally recognised ITEC and CIDESCO Beauty Therapy qualifications.
Combining clinical expertise with an artistic eye, Janelle specialises in cosmetic injectables and regenerative skin treatments, with a philosophy centred on refined, natural-looking and authentic results.
She will be in clinic Tuesday and Wednesdays so book in for all your injectable needs!

Let’s talk about your dermis. Yes, really. 🙈
Your skin has layers, kind of like a cake. 🎂
The top layer (epidermis) is the bit you can see and touch. It’s what your skincare sits on, and it replaces itself about every 28 days.
The layer underneath (dermis) is where the good stuff is made. It has little cells called fibroblasts that make:
✨ Collagen (keeps skin firm)
✨ Elastin (keeps skin bouncy)
✨ Hyaluronic acid (keeps skin plump and hydrated)
As we get older, those cells slow down and make less. That’s when we start to see fine lines, saggy bits and dull skin.
So we treat in the dermis, because that’s where the change actually happens. Skincare is great, but it mostly stays on top.
