Michelle's Naturals
Botanical skincare for healthy, resilient skin. Thoughtfully formulated and small-batch made in Hawke’s Bay.
We are down here at the Clive Rugby market day Fardon Park in Clive. The sun is out, the rain has gone away…for now, it is a little bit windy. Lots of things to do and see and eat, come down and spend a bit of time, support local and just have some fun, here till 3 pm. Hi
16/10/2026
Tomorrow’s Clive Rugby Market Day might be a little cold, a little wet and a little windy… but behind every market stall you see, there’s a local maker doing their very best to be there anyway. 💜
All across Hawke’s Bay tonight, makers and crafters (a long with praying for the weather to clear) will be putting the finishing touches on products, packing boxes, loading tables and chairs, display units, stock, signage, gazebos, weights, sandbags… and all the other bits and pieces it takes just to turn up and create something worth coming to see.
There’s a lot of work, energy and heart that goes into a market before the gates even open.
So if the weather is a bit miserable tomorrow, wrap up warm, grab a jacket, maybe bring the brolly, and come along anyway. 🌿
Your support really does mean more than you probably realise — whether you buy something, ask a question, discover a new local business, or simply stop for a chat.
We’ll be there, doing our best to create a lovely market day for you despite the weather.

Two facial oils. Two different approaches to caring for your skin. 🌿
Botanic Radiance or Balance & Repair — what's the difference? 🌿
Facial oils aren't all formulated for the same purpose, and choosing one can feel a little confusing when you're not sure what the ingredients actually do.
Both of our facial oils contain thoughtfully selected ingredients, but they have slightly different formulation focuses.
Botanic Radiance Vitamin C Oil Serum brings oil-soluble Vitamin C into your skincare routine. It's formulated with 5% THD Ascorbate to provide antioxidant support and help promote a more radiant, even-looking complexion.
Balance & Repair Facial Oil focuses on botanical nourishment, bringing together camellia, jojoba, rosehip, pomegranate and black cumin seed oils to help soften the skin and support its natural moisture barrier.
Both can be incorporated into your skincare routine. It comes down to which ingredients and benefits you'd like to prioritise, along with how the oils feel on your skin.
Not sure which one to choose? You're always welcome to send me a message, and we can talk through what you're looking for.

The eye area is delicate — so the ingredients matter.
Our Botanic Renewal Eye Serum was created as a lightweight treatment for the skin around the eyes, combining hydrating ingredients, botanical extracts and nourishing seed oils.
A few of the ingredients I particularly like in this formula are:
* Cucumber Hydrosol for refreshing hydration.
* Green Tea Extract for antioxidant-rich botanical support.
* Liquorice Root Extract to help support a brighter, more even-looking appearance.
* Green Coffee Bean Extract for antioxidant care, particularly when the eye area is looking tired.
* And raspberry, blueberry and pomegranate seed oils, together with squalane, to provide light nourishment and help keep the skin feeling soft and comfortable.
It’s a good example of the way I like to formulate — combining botanical ingredients with a clear purpose rather than adding ingredients simply to make the formula sound complicated.
Use a small amount and gently pat around the eye area as part of your morning or evening skincare routine.
Made in small batches here in Hawke’s Bay.

Why use a facial oil when you're already using a moisturiser?
It's a question that often comes up when talking about skincare.
While moisturisers typically contain both water and oils, a facial oil provides an additional layer of emollient nourishment that can help soften the skin and reduce moisture loss.
That's the idea behind our Balance & Repair Facial Oil.
I've combined camellia and jojoba oils with rosehip, pomegranate and black cumin seed oils to create a blend rich in skin-conditioning lipids and naturally occurring antioxidant compounds.
Each ingredient has been selected for what it brings to the finished formula, rather than simply adding oils for the sake of having a long ingredient list.
I particularly like the idea of using a facial oil as the final step in an evening routine, gently pressing a few drops over moisturiser.
It's a simple way to give skin a little extra nourishment, particularly when it feels dry or uncomfortable.
Made in small batches in Hawke’s Bay.
