Skin needling is one of the BEST treatments for Acne Scarring 😮💨 (also just skin health in general iykyk)
By creating controlled micro-channels in the skin, skin needling encourages:
• Collagen and elastin production
• Improved firmness and skin texture
• Softening of PIH acne scarring (pictured)
• Reduced pore appearance
The Indented type of scarring happens when the skin doesn’t produce enough collagen during the healing phase of acne. Instead of rebuilding the skin evenly, it heals with a loss of tissue, leaving a dip or indentation.
Skin needling helps by:
• Breaking up old, rigid scar tissue
• Encouraging new, healthier collagen to form
• Gradually filling and smoothing depressed scars
