🌿 MIRIMIRI, a sacred, traditional Māori healing bodywork practice.

A WARM WELCOME 🙏 I will greet you at the door with love & light and invite you to leave the outside world behind as you take your shoes off and step inside.

YOUR SAFE HAVEN 🌿 I lock the door behind us so you can feel completely secure, private, and at peace.

SENSING THE SPACE 🤔 I will show you where the bathroom is before wrapping you in the warmth of the mirimiri room.

HOLDING YOUR THINGS 👜 You will find a lovely basket tucked under the massage table to safely hold your personal belongings.

SACRED PRIVACY 🔒 I will step out of the room, leaving you to undress down to your underwear or shorts in complete privacy.

SINKING IN 💆🏽‍♀️ Please slide onto the warm bed, face down, and pull the cozy blankets over you. Take a deep breath, call out to me when you are ready, and I will softly re-enter.

OPENING THE HEART & SPACE ✨ We will sit together for a moment to chat about your body, any injuries, or pain areas. I will share a little about how our beautiful bodies store emotional trauma in the muscles, and how we will use gentle breathwork to let it go.

SCARED BEGINNINGS 🙏 With open hearts, we will bless our session using a refreshing cleansing spray, the beautiful vibrations of taonga puoro, and karakia.

YOUR NURTURING MIRIMIRI 🌿 Your body is a temple and will be deeply respected. You will remain beautifully and safely draped under the blankets the entire time, with only the area being worked on uncovered. Using nourishing oils, your flow will be...

**THE 60-MINUTE SESSION: We begin face down. I will start at your feet and work lovingly up to the glute (which always stays beautifully covered), giving your leg a gentle, releasing stretch and pull before repeating on the other side. From there, we move up to the torso, melting away tension in your hips, back, shoulders, arms, hands, neck, and finishing with a blissful head massage.

**THE 90-MINUTE SESSION: A deeper journey of self-care. This includes the full face-down treatment, plus a gentle invitation to turn over. I will then soothe the front of your legs, your tummy, ribs, and your chest and finishing with a tender, relaxing face massage.

CLOSING SESSION ✨ I wrap you back into the world with the same sacred ritual, using a cleansing spray, the sounds of taonga puoro, and a closing karakia to ground your wairua before you leave.
