✨A VERY SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT ✨

After four incredible years, the time has officially come for me to hand over the keys to Vanity Hair Salon.
🥹🔑💖

And I couldn’t be happier to announce that Vanity’s new owner is none other than my senior stylist Melissa Newton who has worked alongside me for the past two years.

It’s pretty crazy to think that I went from simply being a client sitting in the salon chair to becoming the business owner within a matter of months — stepping into an industry I knew absolutely nothing about and taking on what would become one of the most rewarding chapters of my life.

From the day I was handed the keys, I gave Vanity everything I had. I ripped the salon apart, remodelled it from the ground up and transformed it into the beautiful space it is today. Along the way, I learnt an entire industry, built a brand, grew an incredible clientele and experienced every high, low and lesson that comes with owning a business.

When I look at Vanity today, I honestly don’t have the words to describe how proud I am. We sometimes forget just how much effort it takes to accomplish something like this, and I can honestly say I’m so proud of what I built and proud of myself for taking a chance on something I knew nothing about and making it my own.

To all of our beautiful clients and business partners, thank you for putting your trust in me over the years. I’ve met so many incredible people and built relationships and friendships that extend far beyond the four walls of the salon. And to all the amazing people I’ve met and worked alongside within the hair and beauty industry, I’ll miss you all!

As I now take a step back from the salon and begin a completely different chapter of my life, I feel incredibly lucky to be able to close this chapter knowing that something I have poured so much into is being left in such good hands.

Melissa, congratulations on taking this leap. Vanity is yours now to grow and evolve into your own and I genuinely wish you all the success and happiness as you begin your journey as the new owner. I know all of our clients will be in the best hands with you.

To everyone who has supported Vanity and me over the past four years, thank you! You have all played a part in a chapter of my life that I will never forget.
