Let’s hope last night’s rain was the last bit of rain we see this weekend and that we get some beautiful weather! 🤞🏼☀️

Here, look at this voluminous, freshly washed hair… see? 😂

As you’ve heard me say a million times already, one of the benefits of having extensions is that I can go almost a whole week without washing or styling my hair because it holds so well, and it doesn’t seem to get oily as quickly either.

I held off until this morning because we’re soon flying to Wellington for the WOW show, and we’ll be walking around, doing lots of things and generally making the most of the weekend. I’m not carrying absolutely anything with me — just a small comb in my handbag! 😂

So I decided to do my hair today, and now I get to forget about it for the rest of the week. 🙌🏼

So, thank you again to Mooi Hair for making my life so much easier! ❤️

Now, cross your fingers for me that it won’t be windy in Welly! 😂🤞🏼 I’ll make sure to send you lots of photos… or at least some photos of my weekend!

Today I got super lovely Ngaire ready for an awards night. Doesn’t she look amazing! 🥰

Lately I’ve noticed my fashion choices are having a little personality change… 😂

I seem to have gone from super bright, colourful, tight dresses to softer tones, looser clothes and a more relaxed vibe. And honestly… I’m LOVING it. 🤎

Is this what happens when you start approaching 50?! 😳😂 Oh my God… someone stop me before I start wearing sensible shoes! 🤣

Now, just to be VERY clear… this does NOT mean I’ve retired my tight dresses. Absolutely not. 😂 They WILL be making a comeback. I’m just enjoying this softer, floaty era for now.

Also, can we appreciate my head accessory? 👀 Strategically placed to hide the fact that my hair is ready for a wash… but I refuse to wash it until tomorrow morning. 😂 So basically, this is fashion AND strategic hair management. You’re welcome. 🤣

And the jewellery… apart from my little name necklace, everything I’m wearing is from my gorgeous friends at Queen of the Foxes. I wear this chunky necklace and these earrings ALL the time and often get compliments. I especially love them with open blouses like this — they just make the whole outfit.

So… softer colours, looser clothes and a headpiece hiding dirty hair.

Today I had the pleasure of glamming the gorgeous Renee for an awards event tonight ✨

Renee has the most beautiful big eyes, so we decided to really enhance them and make them the star of the look. 👀✨

She’s wearing a stunning burgundy dress with gold jewellery, so we created a glam look with tones that will complement her outfit beautifully without taking away from those gorgeous eyes.

She looked absolutely beautiful and is definitely ready for her night out! ❤️✨

Happy Sunday everyone, hope you’re having a fabulous weekend. Today I woke up not feeling that great, (been having sore tummy for few days now)…..so I went and spent sometime at my studio playing with my makeup. That always makes me feel better. 🥹

After a fun day playing makeup, I was supposed to be heading off to a party with hubby… 💃🏻

I glammed up my makeup a little more, got changed, put the dress on… and then my blood pressure decided it had other plans! 😅

I suddenly felt super cold and lightheaded (you can actually see it a little in my first pic).

Soooo… that dress lasted about 5 minutes 😂 and now I’m in my PJs, tucked up in bed and about to start a movie.

Sometimes you just have to listen to your body and call it a night. ❤️

Party plans can wait… PJs and a movie it is! 🍿

This beautiful, stunning girl — who has become like a daughter to me — just turned 15, and today I had the absolute pleasure of doing her makeup for her modelling portfolio photo shoot.

She is already so naturally beautiful, so it was all about enhancing and highlighting those gorgeous features and letting her beauty shine through. Watching her grow into this beautiful young woman has been so special, and I had SO much fun glamming her up today. 💕

I cannot wait to see all the photos and, more importantly, where this modelling journey is going to take her. I have a feeling we’re going to be seeing a LOT more of this face! 😍

Her mama and I will just be over here patiently waiting for our first-row tickets to Paris Fashion Week. 😂✈️👠
