You know I love me a good high tea 🫖 … and WOW just WOW 🤩

Last week a group of friends and I headed to hill.house.cafe for their high tea 🫖and I honestly cannot rate it highly enough.

For $79, there was SO much food. So much, in fact, that we all went home with little boxes of leftovers. 😂

And the scones! Not one, but THREE varieties:
🧀 Fig & blue cheese
🧀 Cheese
🧀 Classic Devonshire

Plus bottomless tea 🫖 delicious savouries, which included the most amazing kūmara & onion dip.

It was generous, delicious and beautifully done from start to finish.

If you love a good high tea as much as I do, put this one on your list. 🫖🌸

One of my favourite new traditions 💙

This season I’ve fallen a little bit in love with women’s ice hockey. 🏒

For just $15 a ticket, I’ve spent my afternoons cheering on aucklandsteel at Paradise Ice in Avondale. I didn’t know anyone when I first went along 🏒 I just wanted to support women’s sport. Now I’m hooked!

And after every game? A trip to rickshaindianfusion in Blockhouse Bay, where I’m slowly working my way through their menu. 🌶️🥘

Supporting local doesn’t always have to be one thing. Sometimes it’s cheering from the sidelines, 🏒 then sharing a meal 🥘 with a friend at a local restaurant.

If you haven’t been to either, I highly recommend both. 💙
