School holidays are almost done with Term 3 kicking off Monday, our regular adventure crew are starting to return. 🐾

With a couple of new enquiries flowing through, our bookings are nearing capacity again. We’re incredibly humbled by the support this little venture continues to receive.

Just 10 months in, the milestones and the learnings keep coming. Here’s to another great term of wagging tails and happy adventures. ❤️

Holiday season at Pet Co 🐾

A few of our legends are away soaking up the break, but we’re still running at about 75% capacity with 110% enthusiasm.

New week kicked off just before the heavens opened, perfect timing with fresh sniffs, happy tails, and business as usual in the best way.

Woofs as usual for the coming weeks.

The veterinary world has changed a lot over the years, with many independent clinics becoming part of larger corporate groups.

For us it’s refreshing to walk into PetMed Veterinary Clinic. Kohimarama and have a conversation directly with the owner of the practice.

We’ve known them for years, and their commitment to caring for animals and supporting local families has never wavered. There’s something special about dealing with someone who has built the practice themselves and remains personally invested in every patient that walks through the door.

As a locally owned small business, we appreciate others who put relationships, community, and genuine care ahead of everything else.

What an incredible opportunity today, onboarding this guy who has truly found his forever home. From an abandoned pup to a long journey all the way to Auckland, and now settled in with a wonderful owner and an equally wonderful dog by their side — what a journey it’s been for him.

He came out full of energy from the get go. Pats first, then a café visit with the team to get him comfortable around our team before hitting the park on lead so he could start getting to know more local spots.

The biggest win of the day? Hearing that his journey has now led him right into our local parks. Can’t wait to keep building this guy into our crew. Welcome home, mate 🐾

From the stunning sunrises over Karaka Bay to rolling waves at Bethells Beach, zoomies across wild sand and pats on demand.

As many of our café customers will know, economic headwinds are real across hospitality. We’re adjusting our trading hours and now close at 1pm to focus our energy on the next chapter of the business and our refreshed afternoon pet care bookings at 1.15pm–2.15pm and 3.45pm.

And this is where that extra time goes.

We’re incredibly humbled by the trust owners place in us each week, allowing us to spend time with their dogs and bring out the energy, enrichment and fun for this wonderful crew.

From urban farm adventures and lead walks to structured neighbourhood strolls, off-lead parks and beach explorations, every outing is tailored to the dogs in our care.

The goal remains simple: tired dogs, happy owners and plenty of memories along the way.
