Alpine Aesthetics - Cosmetic Tattoo

- IRON OXIDE RED - neutralised.

This is a classic example of something I see almost every day in the studio.

And before anything else, these brows are not my work, but I’m also not here to tell you the original artist did anything wrong.

This is pigmentology.

A few years ago, particularly during the height of microblading, iron oxide-based pigments were widely used and often the preferred choice. But pigment changes over time. As the colour fades and different components of the pigment break down at different rates, some brows can be left behind looking warm, salmon, pink or red.

That doesn’t automatically mean the tattoo was done badly.

It means we need to understand what is sitting in the skin now and decide what to do with it.

And the good news? You do not have to walk around with red or salmon brows.

You also don’t necessarily need to keep adding more tattoo over the top.

Depending on what I see in the skin, we can look at neutralising the existing colour, lightening/removing the old pigment, or creating a plan to get your brows back to a colour you feel comfortable with.

There is no judgement in my studio.

I see so many women walking around with brows like these, probably thinking there’s nothing they can do about them and every time I see them, I just want to say:

- After a journey of removal and redo- My beautiful client is so thrilled with her softer, yet still look shaped and structured brows.

My client loves her brows to look “done”, we discussed darker is not always better especially as she has naturally blonde brows and so we wanted lowest maintenance possible.
