I'll Cut You Hair was born in 2020. 3 weeks before the first Covid 19 lockdown. since then we have had 2 salons operating the first in Kaiapoi and we opened the 2nd in Rangiora. Times have changed and we have adapted with them. Hi I am Jess, I am the owner, operator and creator of the I'll Cut You Hair brand, which now operates out of salon that's self efficient within a van! I have been hairdressing now for over half my life, 20 years and counting and still have a huge passion for the industry and making people feel amazing. I specialize in colour, corrective colour and blondes. If I could I would foil and tone hair all day long! I am so lucky to be able to base this amazing space I have been dreaming of within the most beautiful and tranquil community in which I live, Waipara. If you come to get your hair done with me you can expect great conversations, if your wanting to have one of course, if not you can sit and relax with the birds singing in the back ground, open country side landscapes to admire on your drive to us, a hot or cold drink, and as always a fantastic head massage, oh and a beautiful transformation of your hair of course! I look forward to meeting you and having you experience a new way of getting your hair done.

I love a good fix up! Lucky for Denise I've seen my fair share of Let's say... "Creative haircuts". Lol
Interesting how curly hair can hide so much, well untill it doesn't.
The last photo shows the 2 haircuts kindly given to this beautiful lady, one being a bob, the other being a s**g type mullet, but not to worry I was on the case, and with a fresh to new colour to match the more blended shape we sent Denise off on her way to enjoy the rest of the beautiful sunny arvo we had yesterday 💜

Wow transformations were the topic today first up was Abby 😊
Not only did we overhaul her colour which has lasted easily over 6 months since I last did it but the chop was a for real haircut! no doughts about that one.
I love how this has turned out, what do you think?

Now I have the salon space sorted I'm needing to arrange retail and I want it to be somthing that suits you guys so I have some questions...
*Are you more likely to buy products, shampoo, conditioner even dryers and strightners ect in-store or online?
*Do we have favorite brands /or is the best quality regardless of name we can get for our budget most important these days?
* What's your favorite or most used product?

Beautiful Charli came to me with a chat gpt photo of stunning natural copper hair and said this is me let's do it!
Challenge accepted!
The hurdle was previous lightning.
When you lighten your hair it absolutely makes it more porous not nessacerly damaged but it does change things for future colour that's trying to absorb back in.
This is our process so far,
