Some careers are just jobs; for Leanne, it’s clearly a calling. In this week’s , we meet Leanne Hug, Senior Director of US Marketing, COVERGIRL & Rimmel.
 
She is approaching a decade at Coty and still gets excited watching a campaign connect with consumers in the wild. Her favorite example? The COVERGIRL Outlast Lip Stain, which is still going viral two years after launch. “There’s something really special about watching an idea evolve from a conversation in a conference room into something people are sharing on social media and shopping for in-store.”
 
Her team and cross-functional partners are a big part of why she loves coming to work. “We’re constantly talking about products and trends, not because we have to, but because we genuinely love it. That combination of curiosity, passion, and camaraderie is what makes our team so special.”
 
And her personal brand at work? Very COVERGIRL, as it turns out. Easy, breezy, collaborative, with a healthy dose of optimism and humor. “I love our COVERGIRL products and believe our brand has the power to make someone feel more confident and empowered.” Ten years in, she clearly still means it.
