Something I wish more people knew about massage... 🤍

"Massage has to hurt to work."
This one is so common — and honestly, it couldn't be further from the truth. Your nervous system responds better to pressure that feels safe and supported. When a treatment hurts, your body braces, and a braced body can't actually release. Deep work can absolutely be part of a session, but effective massage meets your body where it is — not where we think it should be.

"Massage is a luxury."
I understand why it feels that way. But when we look at what chronic stress, tension and disconnection from our bodies actually costs us — our sleep, our mood, our energy, our health — regular bodywork starts to look a lot more like maintenance than indulgence. You deserve care that isn't conditional on having earned it first.

"You have to be in pain to book a massage."
Please don't wait until you're in pain. 🙏 The most powerful thing about consistent bodywork is what it prevents. Coming in when you're already depleted means we're playing catch-up. Coming in as part of how you care for yourself? That's where the real magic lives.

Your body deserves care that doesn't wait for pain 🤍

Today marks the Summer Solstice, the longest day of the year and a powerful turning point in nature's cycle.

The Solstice invites us to pause and acknowledge how far we've come. Just as the sun reaches its peak, we are encouraged to step into our own light, celebrate our growth, and reconnect with what truly nourishes our soul.
This energy can feel expansive, illuminating, and sometimes surprisingly emotional. As more light shines around us, it can also reveal what we're ready to release.

🌿Ways to work with the Solstice energy:

• Spend time in nature and soak up the sunlight.
• Reflect on what you've created, learned, or overcome this year.
• Journal about what you want to call in for the next season.
• Create a simple gratitude ritual.
• Take a mindful walk and notice the abundance around you.
• Rest when needed, receiving is just as important as doing.

✨ Reiki can be especially supportive during this time, helping to restore balance, calm the nervous system, and create space for clarity, healing, and alignment.

What are you celebrating, releasing, or calling in this Solstice?

Massage, Reiki, or The Woven Signature — which one do you actually need right now?

Massage is for tension that lives in the body. The tight shoulders, the heavy back, the ache you keep meaning to deal with. It works with your muscles, fascia, and nervous system to release what's accumulated, physically, tangibly.

Reiki is for what lives beneath the surface. When something feels off but you can't quite name it. When you're depleted, anxious, or just... disconnected from yourself. It's gentle, deeply restoring, and reaches places that touch alone can't.

The Woven Signature is both — woven together into one seamless session. Because tension lives in layers, and real restoration works on all of them.

Not sure which to choose? Trust what you're drawn to. That instinct is usually right. 🤍

If your body feels tired, heavy, or constantly “on”…
this is for you.

Not the kind of tired that sleep fixes.
The kind that sits in your shoulders… your jaw… your chest.

The kind you’ve been carrying for a while now.

Most of my clients come in thinking they just need a massage—
but what they actually need is a reset.

A moment where their whole system can slow down…
and finally let go.

After a session, they tell me things like:
“I didn’t realise how much I was holding.”
“I feel like I can breathe again.”
“I feel like myself.”

That’s the work.

If you’ve been feeling like this too,
you don’t have to keep pushing through it.

Hot take:
Most people don’t actually need a “tougher” massage.

They need to feel safe enough…
to let go.

Your body doesn’t release when it’s being forced.
It releases when it trusts.

That’s why sometimes the deepest shifts don’t come from more pressure—
but from the right presence, the right pace, the right energy.

I don’t just work on muscles.
I work with your nervous system.

So if you’ve tried everything and still feel tight, heavy, or “stuck”…
it might not be about going harder.

It might be about going deeper 🤍

There was a time I thought I had to push harder…
work more…
be more…
to be “successful.”

But the truth?
The more I soften, the more things begin to flow.
✨ The right clients
✨ The right conversations
✨ The right energy

These days, my work isn’t just about releasing tension in the body…
It’s about creating a space where you can exhale.
Where your nervous system can settle.
Where you don’t have to hold it all together for a moment.

Whether it’s deep tissue, relaxation, or simply time to reconnect with yourself…
you’re allowed to receive.
You don’t have to earn rest.

🤍 If your body’s been asking for a pause… this is your sign.

Rest isn't something you have to earn.
It's something you deserve.

Have you ever had a tight, constricting feeling in your head or referred pain in your neck and shoulders? These are signs of tension headaches!! These can be caused by muscle spasms, trigger points, dehydration and stress/anxiety.

Here are some great tips to get rid of those!!

1) Massage is great at promoting circulation, releasing trigger points and loosening tight muscles

2) Drink more water as dehydration is one of the most common headache triggers, especially when exercising and spending time outside in the heat

3) Check your posture at your desk: the middle of your computer screen should be at eye level, your desk should be allowing your elbow to sit at 90 degrees with the desk and your wrist should be relaxed. Any straining of your eyes, neck or shoulders can result in headaches.

4) Get moving!! Walk around, take the stairs, do stretches at your desk, sit outside for lunch, these are all mood boosters that will reduce stress levels to help prevent headaches

5) Get a good night sleep! A consistent sleep schedule with same wake up and going to sleep times will do wonders for your body and mind

6) Don't skip breakfast to prevent hunger-related headaches and fuel your body with a good variety of foods to keep your blood sugar levels in check

We often wait until our body is screaming before we pay attention.

The headache that won't go away.
The tight shoulders.
The restless sleep.
The feeling of always being "on."

But our bodies usually give us plenty of gentle signals before they reach that point.

One of the things I love most about my work is helping people slow down long enough to listen to what their body has been trying to say.

Which sign do you notice most in yourself lately?

🤍 Let me know in the comments.

You don't have to be in crisis to deserve an hour of stillness.
Sometimes you just need to put everything down for a while — the noise, the tension, the mental to-do list that never ends.

That's what I'm here for. 🤍
