If it’s out of my control then I won’t worry about it

Yes!, that’s the principle I have been working with because I used to be that kind of girl that would worry over every little thing

Here’s what I do now that has shaped my life and has given me peace of mind 😂

Any time I have an issue that is bothering me, I would analyse it to see if it’s really something I should worry about, can I solve this on my own? If yes I would come up with ideas that can solve this issue and if it’s out of my control I just remain calm and maintain my STEEZE

It’s not like worrying would change anything 🤷‍♀️, it only makes you sad and depressed

This is what I do to remain sane when I encounter problems that are out of my control and trust me everything will be totally fine

One thing that will ensure that you are expert at a particular craft is your consistency

You realize that as you continue to practice or keep doing this things over and over again you learn from your mistakes, your mistakes makes you good and equips you with a lot of experience with which you can use to guide newbie’s

In the journey of life and in your respective craft keep pushing and pressing forward, enjoy the experiences that comes with it and learn from your failures and then one day you would realise that the lessons from your mistakes is what makes you different from others

There’s no rule that says you can’t start afresh

Aprils 26 2023, I decided to give my business Toria's cuisine the push that it needed

I became consistent
I became intentional
I became patient and resilient

For me every day was another opportunity to become better at my craft despite the challenges

There’s no stopping Toria’s cuisine, here to thrive against all odds

Growth in business is inevitable if you put in the work

In 2021, I had just started my food brand Toria's cuisine and had no pictures to post as my work, so I went to the market bought food items and made the food on the left hand side of this post and then I posted it on Facebook for people to preorder, I got a lot of criticism for that picture, people laughed at the fish in particular 😂

But guess what, Ike Michael Chilotam Leedah and Ikechukwu Victory ordered for it and I also got a referral

The picture on the righ hand side shows how much I have become better and creative with food photography

Thank you Appah Didey Deshidey for encouraging me to take that food photography course and pushing me to do better with my business, I can’t talk about Toria’s cuisine without mentioning your support so far, I love how you love my brand. Happiest birthday Deshidey ❤️

COOKING IS HARD WORK

I see a lot of persons say oh that meal is pricey after they must have been told it’s price

The truth is cooking isn’t easy, it takes a whole lot of effort to make a great meal, first of all you will have to go get raw materials from the market, walking around and bargaining with market women and men so as to fit into your budget, you get back home and start prepping all the items you bought, and after this stage that’s when the actual cooking starts

You put on your gas cooker and start adding in the food ingredients stage by stage, in this phase you could actually make trash or make a great meals it all depends on your skills

So next time before saying a meal is pricey consider the efforts the person must have put in to make that meal

And as a food vendor, it’s your duty to make your clients see reasons why your food is worth buying, give them reasons as to why your food is worth that price

Again cooking is hard work, every one can be allowed to cook, but it takes a lot of hard work to make tasty meal✨
