Today my Year 3 girl did her maths test 😊

When she saw her score 80%, her face just lit up like a bulb 😂 She was like, I did it! and started smiling shyly. Not even shouting, just that quiet proud smile.

I asked her, Are you happy?
She said, Yes… I tried.

That “I tried” part hit different. Because you can actually see the effort she put in before today.
Before we ended, she said, Next time I will get more!😄
