In 2007, 2baba was attacked by hired assassins who shot him and his friend while he was on his way to FESTAC town. After undergoing surgery, about 22 bullets were recovered from his thighs. God saved his life.

It was because of his glorious future that the enemies wanted to kill him but thank God they didn't succeed. After those rough moments, you all know 2baba's story today. After winning several awards, building his own record label along with so many endorsement deals, by God's grace, he is one of the richest artistes in Africa today.
