Friendships can look different for autistic people.
Making friends, communicating, navigating social situations, and dealing with rejection can sometimes be challenging. But autistic people can have deep, meaningful friendships too.
Different doesn’t mean less. It just means understanding and acceptance matters.

Stop Doing Everything for Your Child
As parents, it's natural to want to help.
But sometimes, helping too much can prevent such child from learning.
Instead of doing the task for them, you should give simple instructions.
Allow the child to try.
Wait patiently and don't forget to Praise the child's effort and not just the result.
A child who is given the chance to try today becomes a more confident and independent adult tomorrow.
Remember to always Support your child, but don't replace their effort.

Why Children Repeat the Same Activity Over and Over.
Have you noticed a child spinning a toy, lining up objects, or asking the same question repeatedly?
It may seem unusual, but repetition often has a purpose.
A child may repeat an activity because they are.
Learning a new skill.
Processing information.
Feeling calm and safe.
Building confidence through practice.
Instead of stopping the behavior
immediately, observe and ask, What is this child trying to achieve?
Understanding the reason behind a behavior is the first step toward providing the right support.
Every behavior is a form of communication.

Today, my heart is overflowing with gratitude.
A parent watched her child confidently stand on stage and give a presentation at the school party. She couldn't believe her eyes.
This is the same child who, as of October last year, was barely speaking.
Moments like this remind me why I do what I do. Progress may be slow, but with patience, consistency, the right support, and God's grace, amazing things can happen.
I take no credit for this. It is God who has worked through me, and I am deeply grateful to be a part of this child's journey.
To every parent who is feeling discouraged, please don't give up. Celebrate every little step because today's small victories can become tomorrow's unforgettable moments.
To God alone be all the glory. 🙏

With Nonspeaking Autism – I just made it onto their weekly engagement list by being one of their top engagers! 🎉
FOCUS IS A SKILL, NOT A GIFT
Some children find it difficult to sit still, follow instructions, or stay engaged in an activity for long. This doesn't mean they cannot learn it means they may need a different approach.
Here are a few things that can help
1: Turn learning into play.
2: Give one instruction at a time.
3: Allow short breaks when needed.
4: Celebrate effort, not just results.
5: Use activities the child genuinely enjoys.
Be patient, attention grows with practice.
Every extra minute a child stays engaged is progress worth celebrating. Focus develops gradually, and with the right support, children can build stronger attention skills over time.
Not every child learns the same way. Some children need more time, more movement, or more encouragement to stay focused. Rather than asking, Why can't they pay attention? let's ask, How can we support them better?
Small adjustments can lead to big improvements.

Just imagine hearing every sound louder than everyone else. Imagine bright lights on your face, they feel unbearable, multiple voices blending into one overwhelming noise, or even your clothes feeling uncomfortable on your skin.
For many autistic children, sensory overload is a daily reality. What may look like a meltdown, withdrawal, or frustration is often a response to an environment that feels too intense.
Understanding sensory differences helps us respond with patience, compassion, and support rather than judgment.
Every child deserves to be understood, accepted, and supported.
The part of Therapy most people miss
Therapy is not magic. People often think therapy is just about teaching a child to speak, write, or sit still.
But therapy is much more than that.
It is patience, consistency, repetition, and love shown over and over again. It is learning how to understand a child before trying to correct them.
It is noticing the effort behind the smallest actions.
Some days, a child may participate happily.
Other days, the same child may cry, get overwhelmed, or refuse activities completely and that’s okay because,
Progress in therapy is not always loud.
Often times progress is slow.
Yet every session still matters.
What many people call small progress can actually be a huge breakthrough for a child and their family.
Therapy also continues beyond the session.
The support, understanding, and consistency at home matters too.
And one important thing;
A child crying during therapy does not mean therapy is failing.
Children are learning new skills, adjusting to routines, and expressing emotions in their own way.
Behind every little achievement is patience, effort, teamwork, and time. Every little step matters.
Happy mother's Day to all the mothers 💐💐❤️❤️
