The same cement floor. The same hot oil. The same _shame_ smell on her hands.
But today, Tenny wore small lipgloss. She didn’t know why.

Mama K coughed from the mat.
Yes Ma! Tenny counted puff puff into nylon. ₦4,000 today. Mama K’s drugs still ₦8,000.
Then he came.
Not the usual 5 AM crowd shouting Fast fast!”
This one stood quiet. Clean white polo. No gold chain. Just... eyes.
_Good morning. The puff puff from yesterday... His voice was soft. Like someone who doesn’t shout. _“Do you still have some?
Tenny froze. Oil dripped from her spoon.

Outside his window, Lagos was shouting.
Inside his chest, something quiet was starting.
He didn’t know Tenny was home, counting ₦6,000 with shaking hands, whispering:
