Please, I need advice, and please keep me anonymous.

My husband married me, got me pregnant, and travelled abroad. Up till now, I have not heard from him. Our child is now 9 years old, and throughout these years, his family has kept telling me to be patient and remain calm.

But honestly, I don’t know what to do anymore. I have waited for years, and I feel like I deserve to know the truth about my marriage and my husband’s whereabouts.

Should I continue waiting because of what his family is telling me, or should I take steps to move on with my life and find out what my legal options are?
