Revival Hovers

Do you know how remarkable this is?

A barren man was praying for others to be fruitful. God was telling a man who desperately needed a child of his own, "Pray for them, and when you pray, they will have children." Yet Abraham himself had no child.

If you were Abraham, would you have prayed?

Look at the story. The Lord had shut up all the wombs in the household of Abimelech because of Sarah, Abraham's wife. Yet God instructed Abraham to intercede for them.

Now, turn to Genesis 21:1:

"And the Lord visited Sarah as He had said, and the Lord did unto Sarah as He had spoken."

Notice the sequence. Abraham prayed for Abimelech's household, and afterward God visited Sarah and opened her womb. The man who needed a miracle became a channel of blessing to others before experiencing his own miracle.

This teaches us a powerful lesson: you do not have to wait until everything is perfect in your life before God can use you. You do not have to be completely "okay" before you can pray for others, serve others, or be a blessing.

Abraham's need did not disqualify him from ministry. In fact, as he ministered to others, God moved in his own situation.

Sometimes, the breakthrough you are waiting for comes while you are helping someone else experience theirs.
