Last Sunday, I had absolutely no intention of taking pictures. I wasn’t even feeling like snapping anything. I just wanted to finish service, pick up my car and go home.
But as I was walking towards the car park with my niece, she suddenly said, “Aunty, people are looking at you!” 😂
I looked around, and then I started hearing:
“Ma, your bag is so fine!”
“Your bag is beautiful!”
“I love your bag!”
And honestly, something touched my heart. 🥹
I looked at the bag and thought, “God… I made this.”
Not because I did it by my own strength. Not because I know everything. But because God gave me the hands, the creativity, the wisdom, the strength and the grace to create something beautiful from nothing.
What a gift! What a blessing! What a privilege! 🙏🏽❤️
There are things God puts inside a person that money cannot buy. Sometimes, you don’t even realize how special your gift is until someone else sees it and reminds you.
That was what happened to me that day.
My niece said, “Aunty, you HAVE to take pictures!” 😂
And I said, “Okay o, let’s snap!” 📸🤣
So here I am… carrying something my hands created, wearing a smile that only comes from deep fulfilment, and thanking the God who gave me this gift.
