We want to show up today… and by tomorrow, we want our lives to be completely figured out. We want everything to be working before we let people see us.

But that is not how growth works.

Most of us don’t want people to witness our struggling stage because it feels awkward. It feels embarrassing. It feels cringe.

But that messy stage? It is and will always be part of the process.

The biggest bat tle is not even with other people. It is with the noise in our own head.

What will people think?

I am too old for this.

They will check my page.

They will see I only have a few hundred views.

They will judge me.

Maybe they will.

But so what?

A video with 300 views can bring you paying clients. A video with thousands of views might not bring a single inquiry.

Views don’t tell the whole story.

Different content performs differently on different days and on different platforms

So… show up even when it is difficult and uncomfortable

I am not even sure if I am talking to you anymore. I think I am speaking to myself too.

Even on my YouTube channel Maebel Apparel… I have had moments where I questioned everything. I wondered if my tutorials were good enough. I had setbacks. I wanted to quit.

But I kept showing up, was it easy absolutely not..

Because sometimes, one piece of content changes everything.

Just one.

However, If you do not want to build an online business, that is okay. You can build an offline one. Or do both online and offline

Just don’t let fear decide for you.

And here’s the truth…

Most of the people you think are watching you aren’t paying nearly as much attention as you think.

Instead of focusing on them, focus on the one person who is waiting for your content.

Someone out there needs what you have to share.

I know it is not easy but please ignore the noise of what will people think

Your breakthrough might be one post away.

You never can tell 🤷🏽‍♀️

Some videos will do really well.

Some will completely disappeared into thin air. 😂

Some even made me wonder…

Did anybody even see this?

If you create any kind of content, you probably know what I am talking about.

You spend hours filming.

Editing, Exporting, Uploading, Writing a title, Choosing a thumbnail.

You even say a little prayer before hitting publish or post 😂

Then you wait…

Sometimes the video takes off.

Sometimes it doesn’t.

The funny thing is…

That doesn’t stop you from creating the next one ooo

Because deep down, you believe that someone, somewhere, will learn something from what you shared.

You know…

Sometimes I randomly go back and watch some of my old YouTube videos too

Not because they are perfect.

Far from it. 😂

But because they remind me how far I have come even though it may seem slow at the moment

But looking back reminds me that growth doesn’t happen overnight.

So the tutorials might not be what you want but watching it to help YouTube recommend the channel again will really be appreciated 🙏🏽🙏🏽
