Children learn better when their nervous system feels safe;
Predictable routines⏰
Gentle tone of voice🗣️
Feeling seen and heard🦋
A calm adult nearby 🤱🏾
A quiet calm space🛏️
Connection before correction 💕
Breaks when overwhelmed☕️
Time to settle in🍷
Consistency and trust🤝
Patience during hard moments 🐢
Movement breaks 👟
Emotional safety 🖤
Clear expectations 🛣️
Rest,food,hydration 🌞
A dysregulated nervous system makes learning harder for children.

Children dont always have the words to say how they feel. Their behavior is their way of communicating.
*walking away-a child who walks away may not be rude. They could be feeling overwhelmed,anxious or emotionally flooded.
Sometimes walking away is their way of protecting themselves.
*refusing work-refusing to complete a task doesn’t always mean a child is lazy or unmotivated. They may be worried about getting it wrong,struggling to understand the task,feeling exhausted or lacking confidence.
Curiosity and encouragement go much further than pressure.
*shouting-raised voices often reflect heightened emotions rather than defiance.
A child may be shouting because they feel unheard,frustrated,scared or unable to regulate their emotions.
They need calm guidance not louder voices.
*hiding-whether under a table,behind furniture or avoiding others,hiding can be a sign that a child feels unsafe,overstimulated or emotionally overwhelmed.
They may need reassurance,space and a trusted adult.
*interrupting-when a child interrupts frequently,it often their way of seeking attention,feeling excited or struggling to wait for their turn.
They may need help building patience,impulse control and confidence in being heard.
Let’s respond with curiosity not criticism.
Behavior tells a story. Let’s learn to read it with compassion rather than judgment.
Which of these Behaviors do you see most often at home or in the Classroom??

How to stop overthinking-you can control every thought but you can choose not to believe them;
*notice the thought-recognize when you are overthinking
*take a breathe-pause,breath,bring ur focus back to the present
*be kind to yourself-overthinking doesnt mean you are weak,you are human.
*write it down-put ur thoughts on paper and clear ur mind.
*focus on what you can control- let go of worries that is not urs to carry.
Protect your peace at all cost 🤗
