🚨 Wesley Sneijder 𝐐𝐔𝐄𝐒𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐒 the Dutch FA's decision to appoint Xavi as Netherlands manager 🇳🇱

"I find it a little 𝐒𝐓𝐑𝐀𝐍𝐆𝐄 that you choose a national team coach who actually didn't meet the Dutch FA's own standards" 🤔

"Xavi completed his A, B and Pro coaching licence within 𝐅𝐎𝐔𝐑 𝐖𝐄𝐄𝐊𝐒" ⏳

"The Dutch FA standard is that every coach currently has to complete a 𝐅𝐎𝐔𝐑-𝐀𝐍𝐃-𝐀-𝐇𝐀𝐋𝐅-𝐘𝐄𝐀𝐑 course" ⚖️

"I wish Xavi all the best, but as a coach he has 𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐓𝐋𝐄 experience" ⚠️

‼️☎️ 𝔼𝕏ℂ𝕃𝕌𝕊𝕀𝕍𝔼: Cristiano’s friend Edu Aguirre on why Cristiano is unhappy:

“There was a meeting yesterday, Tuesday night. An exclusive meeting between the federation president, the national team coach and Cristiano.

Jorge Jesus apologised to Cristiano for the disrespect of having him warm up for 30 minutes and then not bringing him on. And he didn’t just apologise privately. He also told Cristiano that he would apologise publicly and admit that he had made a mistake.

That was Jorge Jesus’ promise to Cristiano. Then he went to the press conference and told a series of lies that nobody believes.

That’s why Cristiano exploded. Cristiano exploded because he felt betrayed. That’s it. That’s how it is.

Your coach comes to you privately and says: ‘Look, this happened. I understand. I didn’t handle it well. We’re together. I’m sorry. If I have a press conference, I’ll clarify it and apologise. Don’t worry, everything will be fine. Everything will be resolved.’

Then, 12 hours later, you go to a press conference and make things worse for Cristiano, asserting your authority and making it clear that you’re in charge and Cristiano is just another player.

‘Go home and move on.’That’s why I call it betrayal.”

Jorge Jesus: “When it comes to Ronaldo, one question is enough; three questions are too many.

“You should ask only two questions about Ronaldo, and I won’t answer any more.

“Ronaldo is not the main reason I’m here. The main focus is Denmark, and I am the national team coach.”
