May God never give us a child who will become our biggest heartbreak.

I saw a video of a boy who used his mother’s savings to gamble. Over ₦2 million. And what makes it even more painful is that this woman had suffered a stroke.

Imagine struggling to survive, saving whatever you could, trusting that the money is safe because it is in the hands of your own child only to discover that he used it to gamble.

What kind of pain would make a mother look at her own child and realize that the person she trusted with everything could do this to her?

It honestly made me think about how we raise our children. We pray for successful children, educated children, wealthy children, but we should also pray for children with empathy, conscience, contentment and the fear of God.

Because what is the value of raising a child who has everything but has no heart?

May our children never become the reason we cry in our old age. May they be our peace, our support and our answered prayers.

Toddlers go whine you but abeg, don’t panic.

I was praying this evening and Baby J left my side. I thought he was in the sitting room. I didn’t know this boy had entered the kitchen for a very important assignment.

He emptied a whole bottle of vegetable oil I just bought on the floor.

I was about to enter the kitchen when NEPA took light. I stepped in and before I could even process anything, my two legs suddenly resigned from their duties.

I just flew and landed on the floor like somebody pushed me. I was there in darkness, confused, looking around and wondering if someone attacked me.

Only to realize Baby J had turned my kitchen into a skating rink with my own vegetable oil.

At this point, if I discipline this boy, please don’t judge me. Because motherhood is already doing me, Baby J is now doing me too.

Mummies, abeg how did you people stop your toddlers from disturbing your phones?

Because Baby J and my Samsung have a relationship I no understand again.

This boy can have toys everywhere, cartoons playing, snacks beside him but the moment he sees my phone, everything else becomes useless.

He will come and collect it, start pressing everywhere, swipe anyhow, open things that's not his business, then suddenly decide to throw it on the floor like a piece of paper.

Sometimes I’ll hide the phone and won't remember where I hid it because of this boy

The only time I get peace with my phone is when he’s sleeping or when he doesn’t know where I kept it.

Pls mummies, what did you do to make your children leave your phones alone? Because I’m tired of protecting this Samsung with my whole life. I no get money for screen biko

There’s one restaurant i can never ever patronise again....never in this life

I was newly married and still new to the area so i didn't know much about them.So one day I went there to eat. After eating, I started having runny stomach.

I was so pressed, I quickly asked for their toilet and rushed inside.

I finished and wanted to clean up,only to discover there was no water.

I checked for tissue space too, it was Empty.

I was just standing there thinking of what to do, no footsteps nobody is coming in that direction.

I spent almost 30minutes before someone finally came to my rescue. And because I was heavily pregnant, I had to explain myself and beg for water.

Since that day, I have avoided that place completely.

Abeg, no matter how pressed you are, always check if there’s water or tissue before entering any public toilet.

Ever since then, wipes have become a permanent member of my handbag.

Some places, you don’t need to give them a second chance. My first experience was enough for a lifetime.
