THAT CHURCH BROTHER

Aside that church brother that has refused to come out straight, there are men who are in the habit of leading sisters on but have no intention of getting married to them.

They can buy her gifts 🎁
They are very caring...
He can defend and protect her...
He even speaks to her family members..
He literally does everything a husband or a soon to be husband will do but will never propose or talk about marriage.....

A man's care or sacrifice towards you can be a trap or a snare if not defined. 💯👌
Stop eating and collecting....Stop and ask questions.

There are two sides to this:
1.The sister who knows the man is not her "spec" yet she is eating and collecting.
2. The sister who has fallen in love yet the man has not said anything and she is eating and collecting.

These are two dangerous places to be as a single sister.

REASONSWHYTHATBROTHER/MAN WILL KEEP LEADING HER ON WITHOUT SAYING ANYTHING:

1. If he already had access to her body or he is planning to do so.
Men Understand investment and won't sacrifice their time, money, affection on a project that has no returns. 🤔

2. If he has access to other benefits such as money, connections or she is fit to be a ceremonial partner. The beautiful girl that is presentable and good only for outings 😐

3. There are men who claim that they are scared to propose. Any man who is scared of asking for your hand in marriage is not qualified for marriage. This is where the evidence of his masculinity should be seen. This reason could be genuine or false. But why would you consider a man who can't express himself. It's not okay.

WHAT THEN SHOULD I DO AS A SISTER

1.STOP GIVING EXCUSES FOR IRRESPONSIBILITY

The worst thing you can do to yourself sister is to give excuses for him. So you say things like:
🙄He will talk...Just that he is scared or he is the shy type...
😎He will propose when he has made money...
😐He is waiting for the right time.

2. STOP THE ASSUMPTION....There is always a day for reconciliation of the books of account. When that day comes..."I thought it's just a brotherly gift" won't save you. You will have to pay for everything you have eaten and collected.

3. AVOID DESPERATION
This isn't a case of desperate situation requires desperate actions. Desperation can make you turn a blind eye on glaring consequences.

4. CONTROL YOUR APPETITE
Not all gifts should be collected because not all free gifts are free. You must not eat everything. Remember Esau. Don't eat today and sell your birthright. Don't ever come to that point where you will asked to bring back the wig, shoe, clothes...

5. BE BOLD ENOUGH TO HAVE A HONEST CONVERSATION WITH HIM
DON'T BE SCARED OF GETTING HIM ANGRY:
DON'T BE SCARED OF LOSING HIM...
The peace you desire lies in that honest conversation.

🎯Ask him what his intentions are.
🎯Ask him why he is delaying the process..
💯Ask him for specific dates....
🎯Cut off if after the conversation he still wants to remain mute/diplomatic or still says..."I AM YOUR BROTHER IN CHRIST".

6. GOING FORWARD, SET BOUNDARIES.
Don't allow relationships that do not have definitions.
WHEN RELATIONSHIPS ARE DEFINED, GOALS ARE ACHIEVED EFFORTLESSLY, THE PARTIES INVOLVED ARE CLEAR, AND RESPECT IS PROMOTED

7. PUT A TAG ON YOURSELF SIS.
YOU ARE WORTH MORE.
