Be Careful Who You Listen To

Be very careful with people who always speak badly and jealousy about others in your presence. 👀

When someone is constantly saying, “See what she has,” “Who does he think he is?” “I don’t know why people like her,” or always looking for faults in another person’s success, character or lifestyle, pay attention.

Because sometimes, the way someone talks about other people when they are not there tells you exactly how they will talk about you when your own turn comes.

Don’t be too quick to feel special because someone is telling you another person’s secrets or pulling someone else down just to make you feel better.

Today, it is their name they are dragging. Tomorrow, it can be your name.

Stay away from unnecessary gossip. Stay away from people who feed on jealousy and bitterness. And most importantly, don’t give people the kind of access to you that they can later use against you.

Character is consistent. If they won’t spare others, don’t assume they will spare you. 💯

And the phrase of the day is
Hate who hates you and ignore who ignores you

PLEASE, BE CAREFUL OUT THERE. NOT EVERYBODY WISHING YOU WELL ACTUALLY WISHES YOU WELL.

I know everybody wants money. We all want to travel, get better jobs and improve our lives. But please, don’t let the pressure to make money make you put your life in danger.

Some people will come and tell you, “Come, I have a job for you abroad.”
“Just follow me, everything is sorted.”
“You will make plenty money there.”

Please, calm down and investigate properly before following anybody.

Human trafficking is real. Some people have travelled through places like Libya, Mali, Burkina Faso and other dangerous routes thinking they are going for work, only to end up being exploited, abused, forced into slavery or prostitution.

And let me tell you something people need to understand: the person trafficking you may not be a stranger.

It can be your friend.
It can be your relative.
It can even be someone from your own family.

Not everybody who says “I want to help you” actually has good intentions.

Please, don’t be in such a hurry to make money that you forget to protect yourself. Ask questions. Verify everything. Find out exactly where you are going, who you are going with and what you will be doing there.

Because what if the “big opportunity” you are chasing ends up taking away your freedom, peace and safety?

Money can be made again. Life cannot.

Please, let’s be wise. Let’s be contented while we work towards something better. And if an opportunity looks too good to be true, don’t just trust it because someone you know brought it to you.

Your life is more important than money. ❤️
