MISS GADE NIGERIA CAMP ACTIVITIES INCLUDES SKILL ACQUISITION PROGRAMME

Part of the activities yesterday in the Miss Gade Nigeria Camp includes skill acquisition programmes designed to empower and equip the queens with practical knowledge for self-development and entrepreneurship. One of the skills being taught is snacks production, where contestants learn how to prepare different varieties of snacks using proper hygiene and professional techniques.

This training is aimed at helping the queens develop valuable vocational skills that can serve as an additional source of income and promote self-reliance. Through these sessions, the contestants gain hands-on experience, creativity, and confidence while preparing themselves to become role models and ambassadors of positive change in their communities.

The skill acquisition programme includes:

1. Bakery Skills: Contestants are trained in the preparation of various snacks and pastries, equipping them with practical baking knowledge.

2. Cultural Food Preparation: Queens learn how to prepare traditional Gade dishes, including Agbu using Gutungbu, preserving and promoting the rich cultural heritage of the Gade people.

3. Graphic Design and Goodie Bag Production: Participants receive basic training in graphic design and the creative production of customized goodie bags.

4. Cultural Dance: Contestants are taught traditional Gade dance steps, helping them appreciate and confidently showcase their cultural identity.
