I think I made the biggest mistake of my life by believing a promise. 💔

Before I got married, my husband promised me that I could continue my education after marriage.

I believed him, so I got married with the hope that I would still achieve my dreams.

After our wedding, he said, “Have one baby first, then you can go back to school.”

I had our first baby within our first year of marriage.

After the baby came, I reminded him about school.

Then he said, “Who will take care of the baby?”

I waited.

One year passed… then another.

Today, it has been five years, and I have three children.

But the school I was promised?

Nothing.

Now whenever I talk about continuing my education, there is always another reason why I can’t.

Sometimes I look at myself and wonder…

Did I become a mother and unknowingly lose the woman I used to be?

I love my children. They are my world. ❤️

But I also had dreams.
