Updateπππ: According to Israel Joe, Favour allegedly sought money from Odogwu Asaba to treat an infection she claimed she contracted after the alleged r**e, saying the trauma contributed to her depression and eventual death.
He said she had never had an STI before the alleged incident.
In one message, she wrote: βThis early morning. You are bringing back my tears, this man.β
Joe added that Favour's body will be exhumed for an autopsy, while police have obtained her hospital records. He vowed she would get justice.
At 20 or 21 years old, I expected her to be wiser and take her security as a woman seriously knowing fully well that women are vulnerable.
She was also frequent on social media, so I believe she might have heard stories of things like this.
Who did she tell or seek advice from before going to meet a man in a hotel room? Is hotel room the ideal place to meet?
She made a whole lot of mistake. Anyway as I said, the deed has been done.
Please note that I'm not in anyway supporting what the man did or holding brief for him.
But as a woman, you should know better. Women are vulnerable, and this is why every young girl out there should be VERY CAREFUL.
