🌿 WHEN YOU ARE WAITING ON GOD FOR A CHILD

Sometimes, you don’t realize the power of the words you are speaking.

You are praying, believing and asking God for the blessing of life, yet fear begins to speak louder than faith. You speak about the worst-case scenario, defeat, disappointment, and what you are afraid might happen.

But your words matter.

Be careful not to let fear become the language of your future. Speak life. Speak faith. Speak hope. Speak the promises of God.

🤍 DON’T PUT YOUR FEAR ABOVE GOD’S WORD

Sometimes we allow our circumstances, our age, our past disappointments or what we have experienced to become louder than what God has spoken.

Your circumstances may be real, but they do not have to become the final definition of your story.

God is still God in the waiting.

🌿 DON’T ALLOW DISAPPOINTMENT TO BECOME UNBELIEF

After many disappointments and unanswered prayers, it can feel safer to stop expecting.

You may think, If I don’t hope anymore, maybe I won’t hurt anymore.

But disappointment needs to be surrendered to God.

Bring your tears to Him. Bring your questions to Him. Bring your broken heart to Him.

Do not let disappointment convince you that God has forgotten you.

🤍 DON’T MAKE INFERTILITY YOUR IDENTITY

Your waiting does not define who you are.

You are not less of a woman because you are still waiting.

And motherhood, as beautiful as that desire may be, should never become the thing you believe will finally make you complete.

Your identity is found in God first.

You are already loved.
You are already valuable.
You are already worthy.
You are already seen by Him.

🌿 FAITH DOES NOT MEAN PRETENDING

Faith is not pretending that everything is easy.

You can acknowledge your pain and still believe.

You can cry and still have faith.

You can feel tired and still pray.

You can have questions and still trust God.

Faith means choosing to believe that God is greater than what you can see.

🤍 DON’T PUT YOUR LIFE ON HOLD

Don’t let your waiting consume your entire life.

Don’t stop dreaming.
Don’t stop laughing.
Don’t stop making memories.
Don’t stop travelling.
Don’t stop celebrating the blessings already around you.

Live while you wait.

Your life is happening right now.

🌸 DON’T LET SOMEONE ELSE’S BLESSING STEAL YOUR JOY

Sometimes another woman’s pregnancy can touch a very painful place in your heart.

It’s okay to acknowledge that it hurts.

But someone else’s blessing is not proof that God has forgotten you.

Their testimony is not the end of your story.

Celebrate when you can. Pray when it hurts. And ask God to protect your heart from comparison.

🌿 DON’T SETTLE FOR JUST SURVIVING THE WAIT

Don’t wake up every day simply trying to make it through another month.

There can still be joy in the waiting.

There can still be peace in the waiting.

There can still be purpose in the waiting.

There can still be hope in the waiting.

God can work in your heart even while you are waiting for the answer to your prayer.

🤍 TAKE CARE OF YOUR HEART

Sometimes the desire for a child becomes so consuming that everything else disappears.

Your thoughts, your conversations, your time, your energy—everything begins to revolve around one prayer.

But don’t forget your heart.

Spend time with God.

Pray.

Read His Word.

Worship.

Rest.

Laugh.

Spend time with people who bring peace into your life.

Your heart matters to God.

🌿 DON’T WALK THROUGH THIS ALONE

You were never meant to carry every fear, every tear, every disappointment, and every question by yourself.

Surround yourself with women who will pray with you, encourage you, remind you of God’s faithfulness, and hold your hand when your own hope feels weak.

You don’t need people who feed your fear.

You need people who help you remember God.

🤍 IF YOU ARE FEELING STUCK, ISOLATED, OR HOPELESS…

Come back to God.

Come back to prayer.

Come back to His Word.

Come back to hope.

Your waiting season is not wasted.

God sees you.
God hears you.
God knows your heart.
God knows the desire you carry.

And while you wait, don’t forget to live.

Don’t forget to love.

Don’t forget to smile.

Don’t forget to dream.

🌿 AND DON’T FORGET THE CREATION The Almighty HAS GIVEN US

The Almighty has already made Mother Nature full of natural remedies, nourishment, and beautiful provisions.

There are so many gifts within His creation that can support the body as you make your efforts.

Use what The Almighty has placed in nature with gratitude and wisdom, while continuing to make dua, take care of yourself, and trust His timing.

You make your effort.

You make your dua.

You nourish your body.

You take care of your heart.

And then you leave what you cannot control in the hands of The Almighty .

And most importantly—

DON’T FORGET WHO GOD IS.

Your story is still being written.

🌿 TRUST GOD IN THE WAITING.
🤍 KEEP YOUR HEART SOFT.
🙏 KEEP PRAYING.
✨ KEEP BELIEVING.

AND LEAVE THE TIMING IN THE HANDS OF The Almighty.

🌿 IF YOU HAVE ENDOMETRIOSIS…

Maybe the answer isn’t always another diet.

Maybe it’s time to understand what happens after you eat.

Many women with endometriosis spend so much time trying to find the right diet.

They remove gluten.

Then dairy.

Then sugar.

Then processed foods.

Then certain fruits and vegetables.

Then they start avoiding foods simply because they are afraid they might cause symptoms.

And yet…

the bloating is still there.
The constipation is still there.
The digestive discomfort is still there.
The tiredness is still there.

So they think:

Maybe I need to remove even more foods.

But that’s not always the answer.

🌸 LET’S TALK ABOUT DIGESTION

Eating healthy food is important.

But eating healthy food is only the beginning.

Once you eat, your body has a whole process to go through.

Your digestive system needs to:

break the food down → digest it → absorb nutrients → move waste through the bowel → allow your body to use those nutrients.

If you’re experiencing digestive problems, simply choosing “cleaner” foods doesn’t automatically mean the digestive process will feel better.

That’s why two people can eat the same healthy meal and have completely different experiences afterwards.

One person feels comfortable.

Another may feel bloated, heavy or uncomfortable.

🌿 THIS IS WHERE NUTRITION MATTERS

Your body needs a wide range of nutrients including vitamins, minerals, protein, healthy fats, carbohydrates and fluids to support normal body functions.

Minerals such as magnesium, zinc and iron are involved in many processes throughout the body.

But this doesn’t mean:

You have endometriosis, therefore you are deficient in minerals.

It means we shouldn’t look at food only as something that can potentially cause symptoms.

Food is also a source of the nutrients your body needs.

🚫 CONSTANT RESTRICTION CAN BECOME A PROBLEM

Imagine your diet becoming smaller every few weeks.

First you remove one food.

Then another.

Then another.

Eventually you’re eating a very limited selection because you’re afraid of how your body might react.

And instead of asking:

What else can I remove?

it may be helpful to ask:

What does my body need to be nourished and supported?

That is a completely different way of thinking.

🌿 AND WHAT ABOUT ENDOMETRIOSIS?

Endometriosis can involve pelvic pain and inflammation.

Some women with endometriosis also experience digestive symptoms such as:

bloating
constipation
diarrhea
abdominal discomfort
changes in bowel habits
feeling uncomfortable after eating

These symptoms can have different causes.

So we shouldn’t automatically blame every symptom on food.

And we shouldn’t automatically assume that eliminating more foods will solve it.

💚 THINK BEYOND THE PLATE

Supporting your body isn’t only about WHAT you eat.

It’s also about the bigger picture:

✨ Are you eating enough?

✨ Are your meals balanced?

✨ Are you getting enough protein and fibre?

✨ Are you drinking enough fluids?

✨ Are your bowel movements regular?

✨ Are you getting enough sleep?

✨ Are you constantly stressed?

✨ Are you restricting so many foods that you’re struggling to meet your nutritional needs?

✨ Are you getting the nutrients your body needs?

This is what I mean by looking at digestive capacity and overall nourishment.

🌸 YOU DON’T HAVE TO FEAR EVERY FOOD

If a particular food genuinely causes symptoms, that is worth paying attention to.

But not every symptom means:

I need to eliminate another food.

Sometimes the conversation needs to change from:

RESTRICTION

to

NOURISHMENT.

From:

WHAT SHOULD I STOP EATING?

to:

HOW CAN I BETTER SUPPORT MY BODY?

Because your body doesn’t only need foods that are considered “clean.”

It needs enough nourishment, nutrients, energy and support to carry out its normal functions.

🌿 LESS FEAR OF FOOD.
MORE UNDERSTANDING OF YOUR BODY.
LESS RESTRICTION.
MORE NOURISHMENT.

And remember:

Digestive symptoms with endometriosis deserve attention but they don’t automatically mean you have a food intolerance or a mineral deficiency.

Sometimes the first step is simply to stop looking for another food to blame and start looking at the whole picture.

🌸 DID MARRIAGE CHANGE YOUR PERIOD?

Your period suddenly became earlier… later… heavier… lighter… or completely different?

Before you think, “Marriage changed my body!” read this. 👀

THE TRUTH ❤️

💍 MARRIAGE ITSELF DOESN’T CHANGE YOUR BLOOD.

But a new chapter of life can bring changes to your:

Stress levels
Sleep
Weight
Diet
Exercise
Hormones
Sexual activity

And these changes can affect your menstrual cycle.

STRESS 😩

🚨 YOUR BODY KNOWS WHEN YOU’RE STRESSED.

Wedding planning.
Moving homes.
New responsibilities.
Emotional pressure.
Less sleep.

Stress can interfere with the hormones involved in ovulation.

That can make your period come:

➡️ Earlier
➡️ Later
➡️ Lighter
➡️ Heavier
➡️ Or sometimes not at all

CONTRACEPTION 💊

💊 STARTED BIRTH CONTROL AFTER MARRIAGE? THIS COULD BE THE REASON.

Hormonal contraception can change your bleeding pattern.

You may notice:

Spotting
Lighter bleeding
Heavier bleeding
Shorter or longer bleeding
Changes in when you bleed

So don’t automatically blame marriage.

Look at what changed.

S*X & PREGNANCY ❤️

❤️ S*X DOESN’T “RESET” YOUR PERIOD.

Being sexually active doesn’t normally change your menstrual cycle by itself.

But there is one BIG difference after becoming sexually active:

PREGNANCY IS NOW A POSSIBILITY. 👀

If your period is late and you’ve had unprotected sex…

Take a pregnancy test instead of assuming it’s just a “marriage change.”

YOUR ROUTINE MATTERS ⚖️

🍽️ YOUR PERIOD CAN NOTICE WHEN YOUR LIFESTYLE CHANGES.

After marriage, your routine may change more than you realize.

Different:

Eating habits
Weight
Exercise
Sleep schedule
Daily routine
Stress levels

These changes can influence ovulation and when ovulation changes, your period can change too.

DON’T BLAME MARRIAGE 🩺

⚠️ NOT EVERY PERIOD CHANGE IS BECAUSE YOU GOT MARRIED.

Sometimes, something else is going on.

Conditions such as:

PCOS
Thyroid problems
Fibroids
Endometriosis
Other hormonal problems

can affect your menstrual cycle.

Don’t normalize a persistent change just because it started after marriage.

WHEN TO PAY ATTENTION 🚨

🚨 YOUR PERIOD IS TALKING — DON’T IGNORE THE WARNING SIGNS.

Get checked if your periods become:

❌ Suddenly very heavy
❌ Extremely painful
❌ Persistently irregular
❌ Much longer than usual
❌ Associated with bleeding between periods
❌ Absent when pregnancy has been ruled out

One unusual cycle can happen.

Persistent changes deserve attention.

THE TAKEAWAY 🌸

💍 MARRIAGE DIDN’T CHANGE YOUR BODY OVERNIGHT.

But your life may have changed.

And your body can respond to those changes.

🌸 Know your normal.
🌸 Track your cycle.
🌸 Notice changes.
🌸 Don’t ignore persistent symptoms.

Your period is one of the ways your body communicates with you.

Listen to it. ❤️

🌸 AFTER A C-SECTION, YOUR BODY NEEDS TIME TO HEAL

A C-section is major abdominal surgery. Even when the outside incision looks closed and healed, the deeper tissues underneath are still recovering.

During a C-section, several layers of tissue are opened and repaired, including the skin, connective tissue, abdominal wall, and uterus. Because of this, healing does not happen overnight.

Some mothers may continue to experience:

Tenderness around the scar
Numbness or reduced sensation
Tingling or pins-and-needles feelings
Itching around the incision
A burning or sensitive sensation
Tightness or pulling when moving
Occasional aching or discomfort
A feeling of sensitivity when clothing touches the scar

🌿 WHY CAN THIS HAPPEN?

Small nerves are affected during surgery. As these nerves recover, you may experience unusual sensations such as tingling, itching, burning, or numbness.

The scar tissue underneath the skin can also feel tight or less flexible. As your body continues to remodel the tissues, some mothers notice pulling or tight sensations, particularly when stretching, standing up, exercising or changing position.

Everyone heals differently. Some women feel comfortable relatively quickly, while others notice sensitivity or numbness for several months.

💗 HEALING IS NOT ALWAYS VISIBLE

One of the most important things to remember is that looking healed on the outside does not necessarily mean everything underneath has completely recovered.

Your body has been through surgery, pregnancy, childbirth, hormonal changes, blood loss, sleep disruption and the physical demands of caring for a newborn.

So give yourself time.

You do not need to rush back to your previous routine simply because the scar looks better.

🌸 WHEN SHOULD YOU GET CHECKED?

Mild discomfort that is gradually improving can occur during recovery.

However, contact your doctor or healthcare provider if you notice:

🔸 Pain that is becoming worse rather than better
🔸 Severe or persistent pain
🔸 Increasing redness, warmth, or swelling around the incision
🔸 Pus, fluid, or unusual discharge from the wound
🔸 Fever or feeling significantly unwell
🔸 The wound opening or separating
🔸 A new or painful lump or bulge near the scar
🔸 Heavy bleeding or other concerning symptoms

These symptoms should not simply be assumed to be part of normal healing.

🤍 AND MAMA, PLEASE REMEMBER…

Your baby may be growing, changing, and becoming more active every day but your body is still recovering from everything it has been through.

Be patient with yourself.
Rest when your body asks you to.
Move gently and gradually.
Give your scar and your body the time they need.

And most importantly, don’t ignore pain simply because someone tells you that it is “normal after a C-section.”

You know your body.

If something feels unusual, persistent, or concerning, get it checked.

🌷 You did something amazing.

You carried your baby.
You gave birth.
You went through surgery.
And now you are healing while caring for another little life.

Your baby deserves care and so does Mama. ❤️

ONLY HAVING S*X DURING YOUR FERTILE WINDOW ISN’T THE WHOLE STORY

When you are trying to conceive, it is natural to focus heavily on ovulation and the fertile window.

Yes, timing around ovulation is important. But fertility is about more than simply finding the “perfect day” and having intimacy only around that time. 🌸

🌿 YOUR BODY IS PREPARING THROUGHOUT THE CYCLE

Your reproductive system is constantly changing throughout your cycle.

Before ovulation, your body is preparing for the release of an egg. Around ovulation, the environment becomes especially supportive of conception. After ovulation, your body enters the luteal phase, when the uterine lining continues developing and preparing for the possibility of implantation.

This means your fertility journey does not suddenly stop once ovulation has passed.

💕 WHAT ABOUT INTIMACY AFTER OVULATION?

This is one of the most interesting parts.

Your immune system is not simply there to protect you from illness. It also communicates with your reproductive system and helps the body distinguish between what should be attacked and what can be welcomed.

Research has explored how regular sexual activity may influence reproductive immune tolerance helping create a more welcoming environment for s***m and, later in the cycle, for the possibility of pregnancy.

So intimacy throughout the cycle may have a role beyond simply placing s***m there at the right time.

🌸 THE LUTEAL PHASE MATTERS TOO

After ovulation, your body enters a quieter but very important stage.

The uterine lining continues preparing for a possible pregnancy, hormones shift, and your body moves into a phase of supporting the possibility of implantation.

This is why intimacy after ovulation can still be meaningful. It isn’t about trying to “make” implantation happen. It is about understanding that your reproductive environment continues changing even after the fertile window has passed.

🫶 AND THEN THERE IS THE EMOTIONAL SIDE

Intimacy isn’t only about conception.

Affection, closeness, touch and connection can support oxytocin and relaxation, helping you feel connected to your partner rather than making every intimate moment feel like a fertility task.

Trying for a baby can easily turn intimacy into:

Is today the right day?

Did we miss ovulation?

Do we need to do it again?

That pressure can take away from the closeness and joy that intimacy is meant to bring. 💕

🌿 TAKE THE PRESSURE OFF THE “PERFECT DAY”

Your fertile window is important but your whole cycle is a journey.

Instead of thinking:

❌ We only need intimacy when I’m ovulating.

Think:

🌸 We can nurture connection throughout the cycle.

🌸 My body is changing and preparing throughout the month.

🌸 Intimacy doesn’t always have to be about conception.

🌸 Connection, closeness and relaxation are part of my fertility journey too.

Fertility isn’t just about catching one perfect day.
It is about understanding your body, supporting your reproductive environment, and staying connected throughout the journey. 🌸

🤲 AND THEN THERE IS The Almighty TIMING

We can learn about our cycles.

We can understand ovulation.

We can nourish our bodies.

We can support our fertility.

We can choose the days when conception is more likely.

But ultimately, we do not control when a soul is created.

🌙 The Almighty has never given anyone His calendar showing when a soul will be created or when a soul will be taken.

There are things in life that belong to us to understand and things that belong to the Almighty alone.

So take the pressure off yourself.

Do what you can, make your effort, make your prayer, nurture your body and your relationship and then trust the Almighty with what is beyond your control. 🤍
