When Jessica first reached out about her wedding flowers, I was genuinely so pleased. A few years earlier, we had the privilege of designing the flowers for her twin sister’s wedding, and I already knew one thing about these amazing ladies— they love flowers. And there is something particularly special about designing for a bride who truly loves flowers too.

From our first meeting, Jessica knew she wanted something dramatic, elegant and a little unexpected. We spoke about her colour palette and even about incorporating fruit and vegetables into the designs, but beyond that, she gave me something every florist secretly loves: creative freedom.

Her brief was essentially: these are the colours I love, I want drama, I want something different, and I want it to look picture perfect. Then she trusted me to do my thing. ❤️

So we played.

Soft blush and ivory met deep burgundy and wine tones. Orchids, hydrangeas, roses, anthuriums and trailing textures came together with grapes, figs and even cabbages, creating arrangements that felt abundant, romantic and slightly unconventional without losing their elegance.

From the cascading bridal bouquet and statement ceremony flowers to the arch, cake flowers and reception designs, the same story ran throughout the day — romantic, luxurious and just a little bit daring.

Weddings like this are an absolute joy for me to design. When a couple trusts us enough to give us room to create, we can move beyond simply recreating an inspiration photo and design something that feels completely personal to them.

Every event begins long before the first flower is ordered.

It begins with listening.

Before we create a proposal, we ask you to complete our consultation form. Not because we need a checklist, but because we want to understand who you are, how you want your celebration to feel, and the memories you hope your guests will take home.

Should it feel calm and understated?
Lush and tropical?
Modern and sculptural?
Soft and romantic?

The answers shape every design decision.

For this concept, we chose delicate calla lilies to bring movement, Cymbidium orchids to add richness and depth, and layers of blush and coral Anthuriums to introduce a contemporary tropical elegance. Tropical fruits, glossy foliage and natural textures weren’t added as decoration—they were thoughtfully woven into the design to create one seamless story from the entrance, to the bar, to the dining tables.

This is why our quotations take time.

We don’t believe in copying Pinterest images or sending the same proposal to every couple. Every mood board, every flower choice, every installation and every colour palette is considered specifically for you.

Because floral design isn’t simply arranging beautiful flowers.

It’s creating an atmosphere.
It’s telling a story.
It’s designing a feeling.

And that’s something we believe should never be rushed.

The Entrance – La Dolce Vita 🍋🇮🇹

First impressions matter, and for this event with 242.group and Corinthia Caterers , our goal was to transport guests to the Italian countryside from the very first step.

Inspired by the relaxed elegance of the Amalfi Coast, we designed an entrance that felt as though it had naturally grown around the beautiful façade of Castello Zamittello . Olive trees, bougainvillea, fragrant foliage, hand-painted blue and white ceramics, overflowing lemons, terracotta pots, and warm lanterns were layered together to create a welcoming, authentic atmosphere.

Rather than competing with the venue, the design was created to complement its stunning gardens and historic architecture, allowing the floral installation to feel organic and effortless—as if it had always belonged there.

The result was an immersive arrival experience that invited guests to slow down, soak in the beauty, and step into La Dolce Vita. 🍋✨ more photos of this stunning setup to come soon.
