After 28 years as a full-time nail technician and salon owner, I’ve finally decided it’s time to step out from behind the salon desk and start sharing everything I’ve learned.
That also means learning new skills myself… like filming, editing, and trying to make sense of CapCut! 😅 So bear with me while I figure it all out.
I’ve always believed that if you stop learning, you stop growing. This is me embracing being a beginner again.

What 28 years in the nail industry has taught me.
I started with no internet, no tutorials—just me, myself and I.
Just years of practising, learning through trial and error, and perfecting a technique that has given my clients strong, beautiful nails with exceptional retention, almost zero breakages, and guaranteed zero lifting.
Over the years, I’ve built and rebuilt my business four times across six locations, worked through three decades, three pregnancies, and raised three children—all while continuing to grow a successful salon.
I’ve trained nail technicians who still run thriving businesses today, including my daughter, who at just 19 has become one of the most talented and efficient nail techs I know.
Now it’s time for me to step away from behind the table and share the knowledge I’ve gained from nearly three decades of real salon experience.
