📣New Psychotherapist At Our Clinic‼️

Ms Annemarie Spiteri,
has been working in the field of psychology for the past sixteen years.
Throughout her career, she has gained extensive experience across various areas of mental
health, including providing individual therapy sessions, facilitating group interventions, and
delivering educational and training programmes. During her time as a Psychology Assistant
within Malta’s public mental health services, she undertook a range of clinical and
community-based roles and served as a team leader at one of the established community
mental health day centres.
In recent years, Ms Spiteri worked in private practice while also serving as a psychotherapist at St
Patrick’s Salesian School and its residential care services. Her responsibilities included providing
individual and group psychotherapy sessions for children, mentoring residential care staff and
carers, supporting teachers, and participating in the recruitment and selection of new employees.
She regularly contributed to multidisciplinary meetings involving various entities responsible for the
alternative care of minors and actively participated in feedback sessions and collaborative
discussions with interdisciplinary teams both within and outside St Patrick’s.
Ms Spiteri currently works on a self-employed basis, providing both individual and group
psychotherapy sessions to private clients as well as to organisations including Richmond Foundation
and Karl Vella Foundation. In addition, she serves as a casual part-time lecturer at MCAST and has
delivered training programmes through other institutions, including Melita Training and Resource
Management and Endeavor.
Ms Spiteri holds a Master’s Degree in Gestalt Psychotherapy and is also a qualified Clinical
Supervisor, offering professional clinical supervision to psychotherapists and other practitioners
working within the mental health field.
