When I created the Korean Glass Skin Facial, I had one goal in mind, for every client to leave with skin that looks visibly smoother, deeply hydrated and glowing.

Life happens and sometimes plans need to change.

However, late cancellations and missed appointments often leave us unable to refill the space. This means there is a reserved part of my working day that hasn't been attended.

Our strict 48-hour cancellation policy gives us the best chance of offering the appointment to somebody else, while also protecting our time and income.

I won’t be on my phone all the time while I’m recovering, so using Fresha to manage your own appointments wherever possible makes everything so much easier for us both. 🤍

A LITTLE APPOINTMENT NOTICE 🤍

Lately, we’ve noticed that we’re having to send quite a few reminders for outstanding appointment deposits, so we’d just like to clarify our booking process going forward.

We’ve always tried to keep things flexible. When booking your next appointment with us in person, we don’t expect you to pay your deposit there and then. However, we do ask that your deposit is settled at least one week before your appointment.

Please don’t leave your deposit until the last minute or the day before your appointment. A deposit is still required to secure your booking, regardless of how close the appointment date is.

Going forward, after several email reminders, if a deposit remains outstanding, Fresha will attempt to process the deposit using the card held on file. If the payment is unsuccessful, the appointment will be released without further notice.

We really don’t want to have to cancel anyone’s appointment, so please keep an eye on your booking emails and make sure deposits are settled in good time.

The Beauty Room

Over the weekend I decided to have a proper clear out of all my skincare. Checking expiry dates, throwing things out and finding products that have literally been sitting at the bottom of my drawer forgotten about. And since summer is slowly coming to an end, I thought it was the perfect time to change things up a little. After months of sun, SPF, heat etc, I like to start focusing a bit more on exfoliating and renewing the skin… so the retinal is officially back out 👀✨

This is what my evening routine is looking like at the moment. I’ll only be doing this 1–2 times a week because I’m really conscious of not overdoing actives and messing up my skin barrier.

Cleanse, milky toner, retinal, eye cream and obviously something for the lips 🤍

Nothing complicated. Just getting my skin back into a good routine after summer 🫶🏼
