Imagine seeing a blue car. After that, it feels like blue cars are all over the road. The funny thing is, there probably aren’t more blue cars than before. You’re just noticing them now because your brain has decided they’re important.

This is often called the “Blue Car Theory.” It reminds us that what we focus on shapes what we notice. Once something catches our attention, our minds naturally begin to recognize it more often. The opportunities, ideas, and even the people around us may have always been there. We just didn’t notice them before.

It makes me wonder how many beautiful things we miss simply because we’re not looking for them. Maybe that’s why choosing what we focus on is more powerful than we think. 🚙🦋
