We are encouraged by the positive responses received from several members of Congress and will continue advocating for practical reforms that support American businesses, professionals, and commercial interests in Kuwait.

Ahead of our Inter-Council Summer Dinner, we were pleased to visit Waldorf Astoria Kuwait and meet with the team to review the venue and preparations.

ABCK–AmCham Kuwait was pleased to meet with H.E. Chargé d’Affaires Steven Butler to introduce our new leadership and discuss areas of continued cooperation with the U.S. Embassy in Kuwait.

AmCham Kuwait shared our increased focus on advocacy and discussed how we can work together to support U.S. companies operating in Kuwait, encourage further U.S. business activities, and help create an environment that supports their long-term presence and growth.

We also discussed increasing engagement between the Embassy and AmCham Kuwait and supporting greater government participation in private-sector roundtables and sector-focused discussions.

We sincerely appreciate H.E. Chargé d’Affaires Butler’s continued support of AmCham Kuwait and the U.S. business community and look forward to further collaboration.

ABCK–AmCham Kuwait was pleased to meet with the new leadership of World Bank Group in Kuwait for an introductory meeting to explore opportunities for future collaboration.

Discussions focused on workforce development, the current regional landscape and its impact on businesses, AmCham Kuwait’s advocacy initiatives, and the World Bank’s investment priorities and engagement with the private sector.

We look forward to working together on future initiatives that support Kuwait’s private sector and economic development.

The AmCham Kuwait Education Focus Group Co-Chairs visited The American University of Kuwait to discuss internship opportunities with our corporate members, study-abroad programs, and innovation initiatives for students.
