Soap bevelling simply means smoothing the edges of a bar of soap.
I do it so the bar feels more comfortable in your hands. It’s one of the last things I do before our handmade soaps go up for sale.

Packing a handmade soap gift box is one of my favourite things to do.
This one has our Ember and Soft Escape soaps, plus a bamboo soap dish. I often wonder which bar will get unwrapped and tried first.

Lately, Ember has been the bar I reach for when the day has felt particularly full.
Deep, warm and aromatic, with bourbon + bergamot and a satisfying lather. I especially enjoy it at the end of a full day.
