Nikkhar didn’t start with candles. It began during the pandemic, when academics came to a sudden standstill and I finally had the time to explore something I had always been drawn to—building something creative, craft-driven, and my own. I went back to a hobby I had learned long ago: handmade soap making. As I worked, I realised this wasn’t about beauty in the conventional sense—it was about glow. Not skin tone, but the kind that comes from within.
Finding the right name wasn’t easy until my husband suggested Nikkhar—and it instantly felt right. From a simple purple-and-white logo made on a free tool to today’s version with a candle element, the brand didn’t change—it evolved. From soaps to candles, one thing stayed constant: the idea of glow. If you’ve ever used a pause in life to build something of your own, I’d love to hear your story.
