Guru Poornima Celebrations, Wednesday, 29th July 2026.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
The students of HYMC Noida gathered to celebrate the most auspicious occasion of Guru Poornima, from 7:30 AM to 9:00 AM, in the divine presence of Jaya GuruMaa, who joined online to bless and guide the sadhakas.

The session began with the chanting of 3 Omkars, invoking inner purity and harmony.

Then, with the blessings of GuruMaa all the sadhakas were welcomed. The event started with a talk by Naina Mathur aunty where she brought back the memories of the inauguration of HYMC, Noida. She described how it has been a ray of hope for so many seekers, and the teachings of the tradition have perpetually flowed, showering divine grace upon all seekers who reached Gurumaa and HYMC NOIDA.

The sadhakas then performed the Guru Paaduka Pooja, by chanting "Akhanda mandalakaram" mantra 21 times and making the offerings at the lotus feet of the Guru after each shloka. This was followed by 2 min silence.

Rashmi ji recited the Guru Ashtakam stotram and briefly explained the meaning of the verses. The stotram highlighted that "What else is there in this world if you have everything and yet devoid of devotion, love and character? And to recognize the supreme power which is sustaining everything."

Then Garimendra shared the experiences of HYMC sadhakas from their Puttaparthi Pilgrimage. The pilgrimage was the start of an understanding of Guru Tattva, which is Grace and Love perpetually flowing in the universe, much like the gravitational force. It is the eternal force which sustains all moving and non-moving objects in the universe together. Garimendra also shared how he felt the omni-present nature of this consciousness, and about recognising this conciousness in a human form as Guru.

Mini ji and Rani ji recited the Guru Paduka Stotram and Laxmi Narsimha Stotram respectively in their soulful voices. Thereafter the sadhakas proceeded to soulful bhajans.

The highlight of the morning was GuruMaa’s blessings and divine guidance, where she lovingly shared her personal experiences with Swami Rama and Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. Gurumaa recounted how she was blessed by her Gurus and Her experiences showed how Guru Bhakti leads to receiving Gurus Grace and Unconditional Love. Gurumaa then led the sadhakas into a short meditative session, where sadhakas meditated on guru paduka pooja in the heart by chanting the line...namo namah shree padukabhyam, with Miniji re-reciting the Guru Paaduka stotram 21 times.

The Celebrations concluded with Mangal Arti and sitting in meditative silence, followed by Prasadam.

Paying the highest spiritual respects and being grateful for this opportunity to spend time with our Guru, we hope to continue learning and treading the path with the knowledge of discernment.

Om Tat Sat.

Spiritual Pilgrimage by HYMC Students at Puttaparthi

With immense gratitude, utmost respect and seeking GuruMaa’s blessings, students of HYMC Noida received the rare opportunity of visiting Puttaparthi, the city where Love and Grace follow you at each step and every breath.

As this year happens to be Bhagwan Shri Sathya Sai Baba’s centenary celebrations, with Guru Poornima approaching, Gupta Navratras going on and Jagannath Puri Rath Yatra starting, the timing could not have been any better.

Entering the divine city of Puttaparthi began with the stories, right on the way from Bengaluru Airport about the status of Baba’s birthplace, from how it was about a century ago. Even fetching water was a Herculean task, and people lived in sheer lack of resources. To now, where at present, before one even reaches Prashanthi Nilayam, the city greets with a fully equipped healthcare center and educational institutes for academics and music. These services are offered at no expense to pockets for everyone.

The spiritual pilgrimage for the sadakas started with blessings from Guru Maa and having the darshana of Baba’s Samadhi. The morning sessions at the ashram were conducted in a punctual way , starting with a meditation session of 21 Omkaras, Nagarsang Kirtan, and Vedic chantings. After breakfast the sadhakas attended the Bhajan and Arti followed by Divya Samadhi Darshan where Baba presents himself, asking us to Love All, Serve All.

One thing which stood out was the discipline laid out from the entry gates to Samadhi Darshan. An intense routine and mannerism was followed which gave an insightful instance to how the saying “Work is Worship” is lived, believed and experienced.

The opportunity of sitting right across the birthplace of Baba, over the banks of the Chithravati river with a japa mala and meditating, was a divine experience. It was the place where Baba once did all his leelas at his young age and now stands as a reminder of his gracious presence.

Located just a 5-minute walk from the Prashanthi Nilayam Ashram is the Kalpataru. It is the Tree of Meditation where once can attain realisation by sitting in silence under this tree. Sadhakas meditate and undertake spiritual austerities here, they attain fulfillment of their sankalpas.

The satsang sessions collected so many miraculous stories from Guru Maa’s own journey, which took two long decades for Baba’s darshanam from her first steps towards being a Sathya Sai Devotee. This stands as a remarkable reminder for us all that how far and high in the realm of spirituality, do Nairantarya Abhyaas and Deerghkaleen Shraddha take a sincere seeker.

Our sadhana during the pilgrimage

During the evening, sadhakas assembled for a soulful bhajan sandhya, reminiscing the name of the lord by singing glories of different forms, with each one’s chords of their hearts and chanting the way to total silence. Preparing with the bhakti for dhyaan, the sadhakas stepped another stone towards gyaan.

After the bhajans sadhakas proceeded with an intense meditative session guided by Guru Maa. With all divine blessings, the sadhakas sought the grace from the Gurus of Himalayan Tradition and followed the steps of awareness of breath and leading to complete stillness.

Closing Session of the Pilgrimage

The auspicious spiritual pilgrimage to Puttaparthi concluded with the blessings of our beloved and most revered Guru Maa, who is our torchbearer and true north in the path. The sadhakas gathered at the feet of Lord Ganapati, at the Prashanthi Nilayam Gate with some tears in eyes of joy and some wonders in hearts of the miraculous memories. Despite the physical limitations, with the loving resolve of elevating every soul whose life she can touch, Guru Maa stands as an inspiration for us all. Highest gratitude to the divine in you Guru Maa.

Jai Sai Ram.

Celebration of The International Yoga Day by HYMC Noida

Hari Om! 🙏

The sadhakas at HYMC Noida came together to celebrate the International Day of Yoga, uniting their energies with millions globally.
The sadhakas began the session by bowing in deep gratitude to Swami Rama and Swami Veda Bharati, the eternal torchbearers of enlightenment who constantly lead us from darkness to light, from the unreal to the real, and from death to immortality. Gurumaa was present online and blessed us to begin the session.
The session began with blowing of conch and three Omkars. The traditional Joints and Glands exercises and deep stretches, including Surya Namaskaras, were beautifully guided by Rajnish Ji and Divya.
Guru Maa shared her inspiring journey of establishing HYMC Noida, with blessings and personal presence of Swami Veda Bharati himself on that occasion. She reminded us of the ultimate rule of sadhana as taught by Swamiji: Dirghakaleen, Nairantarya ((long-term, uninterrupted) practice. She emphasized that while worldly problems are inevitable, taking even one sincere step on the spiritual path invokes divine Grace.
Anchored in the motto ”Yoga is Samadhi," Gurumaa walked us through Patanjali's Ashtanga Yoga ladder—from Yama and Niyama up to Dhyana and Samadhi. She explained that when we unveil the veils of ignorance through a focused mind we prepare a pure ground. Thereby, our inherent divine qualities naturally shine through, allowing us to truly absorb the ultimate knowledge of the Upanishads.
Gurumaa also pointed out to students to take notice the exact step-by-step methods taught by Sri Krishna to Arjuna (Bhagavad Gita Chapter 6 on Dhyana Yoga) are the practical, experiential steps we systematically live and practice within The Himalayan Tradition. The session concluded by Gaurav Jain with pranayama and silent meditation for a few minutes which took the gathering into deep meditation.
Let us keep the flame of practice burning bright and always remember the words taught repeatedly and during today’s session: Dirghakaleen, Nairantarya (long-term, uninterrupted), for our practice.

World Meditation Day Celebration by HYMC Noida (21st Dec '25)

The Himalayan Yoga and Meditation Center (HYMC) Noida, gathered to commemorate World Meditation Day at the home of Archanaji and Shashank Ranjan ji at Greater NOIDA, longtime practitioners of the Himalayan Tradition. Both existing and new seekers were present at the celebrations. Gurumaa was present online for all to see, hear and talk to participants.

The program commenced with 3 omkars followed by devotional bhajans. Shashankji briefed everyone on the Himalayan Tradition- about Swami Rama and Swami Veda Bharati ji and the lineage which expound the sacred teachings. Jaya Gurumaa then explained the true meaning of spirituality-a life centered on generosity and unconditional love. Gurumaa told everyone about the importance in lives of a sadhaka, the teachings of Sri Sathya Sai Baba, Swami Rama, and Swami Veda Bharati which are all one. She inspired seekers to be steadfast in their spiritual journey with help of meditation, as taught in the Tradition. She also explained how the Tradition is a source for all meditative practices being followed today in the world, thereby being extremely authentic.

The older students then shared testimonies of their November 2025 Rishikesh retreat experiences and the personal growth they have experienced because of being meditators in the Tradition. The important common learning for most people was how this path has enabled them to navigate significant personal and emotional challenges with faith and resilience. This was followed by a question and answer session from new seekers of the Tradition, whose doubts Gurumaa clarified. The new seekers expressed their thankfulness for explaining the simple and profound meditation techniques of the Himalayan Tradition.

The day culminated in a guided meditation led by Guru Maa, which gently anchored participants in awareness of their breath and silence. This meditative practice showed all practitioners how even a short session in stillness and silence can help in achieving peace. The new seekers expressed their thanksfulness for explaining the simple and profound meditation techniques of the Himalayan Tradition.

The gathering concluded with lunch prasadam to all participants
