Some journeys stay with you. 🤍

Mona first came to me as part of a group of friends who shared a love for yoga. Over time, I watched some of them begin their journeys towards motherhood — and eventually return to me for prenatal yoga.

What made Mona’s journey especially special was that we were pregnant together

Her pregnancy needed extra care, so our practice became gentle, supported and completely guided by what she needed. Some days, we practised right from her bed.

Being trusted through such a vulnerable and beautiful chapter of her life is something I’ll always cherish.

Sometimes yoga is simply about being there. 🤍

Bladder leakage. Pain during in*******se. Pelvic heaviness. A feeling of weakness or poor core support.
These are common pelvic floor concerns after pregnancy and birth—but they’re not something you simply have to “live with.”

Postpartum recovery is also about reconnecting with and rebuilding your pelvic floor. 🌿

In this reel, we’re focusing on gentle movement that can support pelvic floor awareness, strength and coordination.

Because recovery isn’t about getting your old body back.
It’s about helping your body feel strong and supported again. 🤍

Spent a day just walking from temple to temple in Kashi — some huge and carved and impossible to miss, some literally a room behind a room, some 30-40 feet underground where you have to actually want to find them.

Kashiraj Kali Mandir was the first stop — massive at the front, Devi draped in red right there at the entrance, and then this tiny quiet room behind her with a Shivling nobody really notices. Then Gautameshwar Mahadev, Trimbakeshwar (one of Kashi’s own Jyotirlingas, tucked away like it’s nothing), the underground Bheemeshwar and Pita Maheshwar, a few of the Mahavidya shrines, Sankata Mata, Bharatendu Harishchandra’s old house…

Kashi doesn’t really present its sacredness to you. You have to go looking, climb down for it, get a little lost in a gali for it. Somewhere in that walking you get closer to your ‘self’

What if everything you thought yoga was… was only the beginning?

If you’re a new mom you’ve probably seen a million reels about diastasis recti. But here’s what nobody is actually explaining.

DR happens to almost every pregnant woman — vaginal or C-section. I had it after a vaginal delivery. The degree varies, but the need to heal your core doesn’t.

Unaddressed, it becomes a lifelong struggle with back pain and pelvic instability. But it can be healed.

Start with the practice I shared in my last reel. Save this and share it with a new mum 🙏

Most people only talk about diastasis recti in the context of C-sections — but the truth is, it happens in both vaginal and surgical deliveries. The degree varies, but almost every pregnancy causes some level of core separation.

And when it goes unaddressed, it shows up as back pain, pelvic instability, a weak core — sometimes for years after delivery. Not because your body failed you, but because nobody told you it needed attention.

This is where healing starts. Save this 🙏

Planning pregnancy with PCOD didn’t start with fixing my body.
It started with protecting my mental health, getting clarity, and having honest conversations.

Yoga was already part of my life.
Medical support was taken when needed.
And planning felt lighter when it wasn’t rushed or carried alone.

This is Part 6 of my Conscious Pregnancy Planning series.
Shared honestly — not as a promise.

Pregnancy planning often gets spoken about as a woman’s journey.
But stress, decisions, routines, and emotions don’t belong to one person alone.

For us, things felt lighter when this phase was shared —
from managing stress, to showing up for health, to simply starting our mornings together.

This is part of my Conscious Pregnancy Planning series.
If this resonates, you’re not alone.

Do you feel supported in this phase, or are you carrying it mostly alone?
