What started as simple Diwali gifts for close family and friends escalated quickly commercially after getting encouraging reviews about its quality and feel. Kavita Garg being an ace Dietician and a firm believer of Ayurveda herself understands the importance of the herbs and the value of Real Extracts and their effects on human skin. Her daughter Dr. Ruchika Garg being a post-graduate doctor is aware of the harmful effects the chemicals have on the human body and did extensive research on ways to eliminate the use of these chemicals from our day to day life. She came across various articles that are published in top indexed international journals which talk about the health controversies of Sulphates & Parabens which might range from causing auto-immune diseases to liver and kidney diseases. If these chemicals are used by pregnant females they might cause birth defects in the developing foetus. Also the chemical structure of Parabens mimic estrogen- a commonly found hormone in females and during selective uptake of it the body is tricked due to the similar chemical structure thus causing uptake of Parabens into the breast tissues and hence increasing the incidence of breast cancer in females and due to the similar principle cause infertility in men. The Paraben residues that is left on the skin reacts with the UV-B rays leading to DNA damage, wrinkles and skin aging. Thus having a knowledge of the adverse effects of these chemicals on the skin the mother daughter duo collectively thought of bringing you an exotic range of SLS and Paraben Free soaps and hence Ecstasy came into existence.
