Over the three days, we’ll cover:

- Lip-specific colour theory and confident colour selection
- Creating soft, natural lip blush that ages well over time
- Working with different lip types, tones and natural pigmentation
- Lip mapping and creating balanced, flattering shapes
- Shading and lining techniques, from soft sheer effects to controlled definition
- Pigment selection, mixing and understanding how colour heals in the skin
- Understanding needles, machines and pigments and how these choices affect implantation and healed results
- Lip skin, healing and how this differs from working on other areas of the face
- The science behind what we do, so you understand why you’re making each decision rather than simply following a technique
- Practical work, demonstration and supervised live model work on Day 3

I've been trying to put this experience into words, and I still don't think they quite do it justice.

47 countries. Hundreds of artists. One man's vision.

What Mohammed Hanafy and the entire PMUX team created was something genuinely special.

Yes, there were incredible demonstrations, inspiring education and so many opportunities to learn. But if I'm honest, some of the most valuable moments happened in between. The conversations over lunch, the laughs and screams on the camel rides (I don't think I've ever ridden a camel at a conference before! 😂), and meeting artists from all over the world who all share the same passion for raising the standards of our industry.

What stood out to me most was Mohammed himself. It didn't matter whether you were new to the industry or internationally recognised—he made time for everyone. With over 200 people there, that level of genuine care doesn't happen by accident. Somewhere amongst it all, he even found time to arm wrestle my husband. 😂

The team behind him were equally incredible. No detail went unnoticed, everyone was looked after, and you could feel how much thought and care had gone into every part of the experience. We were truly spoiled from beginning to end.

Thank you, Mohammed, and thank you to the entire PMUX team, for reminding us that this industry is about so much more than techniques. It's about people, generosity, connection and never stopping learning.

I'm grateful to have been part of it and already looking forward to the next one.

The response to the first edition was incredible, and I’m so excited to announce the second edition of Skin Tech Fundamentals. 🤍

What started as an idea to help artists better understand the science behind PMU has grown into a programme that is helping professionals build more confidence, achieve more predictable results and truly understand the skin they work on every day.

It’s about knowledge, critical thinking and creating better outcomes for our clients through a deeper understanding of skin physiology, healing and treatment planning.
