👉Visible capillaries, spider veins, facial redness or ruby angiomas can make the skin look uneven and more flushed than you would like. At my clinic, I use 980 nm diode vascular laser technology to precisely target selected vascular lesions while keeping the surrounding skin protected.

🔬 How does it work?

The 980 nm wavelength is absorbed by chromophores within the blood vessels, particularly haemoglobin. The laser energy is converted into controlled heat, which causes thermal coagulation of the targeted vessel. Over time, the body naturally clears the treated vessel through its normal physiological processes.

The treatment can be used for selected:
• facial telangiectasia and fine visible capillaries
• spider veins
• small superficial vascular lesions on the body
• ruby angiomas
• diffuse facial redness and erythema

The result is gradually less visible vascularity and a more even-looking complexion. The exact response depends on the type, depth and size of the vessel, as well as individual skin characteristics. Some vessels may require more than one treatment.

Different wavelengths of light pe*****te the skin at different depths and interact with specific cellular targets called chromophores.

🔵 BLUE LIGHT — 401 nm
Blue light targets C. acnes, the bacteria associated with inflammatory acne. It can help create an environment that is less favourable for bacterial activity and therefore support the reduction of inflammatory breakouts.

🔴 RED LIGHT — 661 nm
