For her brows, I created Combo Brows — delicate microbladed hairstrokes through the fronts combined with soft powder shading through the body and tails for extra definition without looking too heavy.

For the lips, we added a fresh Lip Blush to give a more even tone, softly enhance the shape and bring a little more colour back into the lips 💋

✨ CAROLINA’S BROW JOURNEY ✨

This is such a good example of why sometimes we need to remove old pigment before we can create a beautiful new set of brows.

TOP PHOTO — BEFORE LASER REMOVAL
Carolina had her previous PMU done over 10 years ago in Brazil. Over time, the pigment had become quite saturated and developed a slight navy/blue tone.

When old pigment is still more than around 50% visible, or has become heavily saturated like this, we generally don’t recommend simply tattooing over it. Adding more pigment on top can make the brows look even heavier and darker.

In cases like this, we recommend either allowing the pigment to fade naturally for longer or having laser tattoo removal first.

MIDDLE PHOTO — AFTER 2 LASER SESSIONS
After two sessions of laser tattoo removal, we then waited another 12 weeks to allow the skin to fully settle and the pigment to continue fading before starting her new brows.

Patience is such an important part of the process. ✨

BOTTOM PHOTO — AFTER 1ST MICROBLADING SESSION
For Carolina’s new brows, we wanted everything to stay soft, fluffy and natural.

Carolina naturally has very dark hair, but we chose to go slightly lighter with the pigment to keep the overall result softer and more natural.

Lucy followed and mimicked Carolina’s own natural hair flow with delicate microblading strokes, working with what she already had rather than creating a completely new brow.

And this is only session one. 😍

Sometimes the best brow transformations take a little longer — but protecting the skin and creating the most natural result possible is always worth it.

Carolina previously had old PMU from around 10 years ago, so before we could create these beautiful, natural brows, we first needed to lighten the old pigment with 2 sessions of laser tattoo removal.

Once the skin was fully healed and ready, Lucy created soft, delicate microblading strokes designed to mimic Carolina’s natural brow hairs and blend seamlessly with what she already has. 😍

This is such a good example of how sometimes achieving the most natural result takes a little patience and a carefully planned journey — but it is SO worth it.

We are absolutely obsessed with these fresh, fluffy, natural brows!
